Many after seeing Karthi's Sulthan , commented that it is made for Telugu audience. I strongly objected as Telugu films have moved away from such `masala' long back. Director Bhakkiyaraj Kannan does not disappoint you as he keeps the pace fast and never attempts to surprise you with any new twist. The film is also a point of discussion among viewers. Devar Magan, Sandaikozhi and many film names crop up in viewers mind.
Karthi with due respect does full justice to the role- physically and acting wise. Though this is Rashmika's first Tamil, she looks quite jaded. Lal , Yogi Babu, Napolean all are aptly cast. The songs are good. KGF Ram looks menacing.
It seems Rajamouli's father Prasad worked on the script and made corrections. A time pass but nothing more.
