In a first Nayanthara and Vignesh banner Rowdy Pictures has joined as co- producer of the Malayalam film Dear Students. After Love Action Drama, Nayanthara and Nivin Pauly are coming together. The film is directed by Sandeep Kumar and George Philip Roy. Pauly Junior the company of Nivin was the producer and now Rowdy Pictures along with Vineeth Jain of Maverick has joined as producers. Nayanthara plays the role of Vidya Rudhran , mod teacher wearing a blue kurta set with dupatta, and holding her round .glasses along with a sporty watch, sneakers, and an oxidized flexible bracelet. Madras High Court has postponed the final hearing of Dhanush v/s Nayanthara with regards to use of some visuals of the film Naanum rowdy Thaan, produced by Dhanush in the Netflix documentary by the latter without getting permission.

Tovino Thomas debut in Tollywood with NTR- Neel film Dragon. Malayalam’s top draw Tovino Thomas and known outside Kerala for his film Minnal Murali that was streamed on OTT, is appearing in NTR- Neel film Dragon and along with him is another actor from Mollywood and that is Biju Menon. Biju Menon had worked with Ravi Teja earlier and this is his second Telugu film. Biju is currently acting in A R Murgadoss film starring Sivakarthikeyan. Anson Paul the antagonist in Unni Mukundan’s hit film Marco has signed a new Tamil film with Aditi Rao Hydari as heroine.. Directed by Rajesh Selva , Director of Thoonga vanam and Cheekati Rajyam starring Kamal Haasan, Kadaram Kondan starring Chiyaan Vikran and produced by Kamal, also did a thriller Irai with Sarath Kumar for Aha Tamil. December end, Anson’s Tamil film Mazhayil Nanaigirane directed by T Suresh Kumar was released. Producer Shareef Muhammed clarified in a press release that no agreements have been signed with any OTT platforms regarding the release of Marco. Meanwhile, Marco has created history by becoming the first Malayalam 'A' rated film to enter the 100-crore club

The movie was called 'Poovinu Puthiya Poonthennal", made in Malayalam directed by Fasil. It was remade in Tamil ( Poovizhi Vasalile with Sathyaraj), Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Simhalese. All five language movies were hit and it became a cult film. I got the opportunity to play the villain, playing the same role in all the languages and became one of the highest paid villain in the country. It has been always a dream for me to do a big budget action movie

Now efforts to discredit Marco Hindi success by using BJP name

 Why is Marco success in Hindi belt now credited to BJP ?  Why suddenly is Marco become obnoxious to many twitter users after two weeks ?.

As collections increase after word of mouth publicity is positive for Marco’s Hindi print and many YouTube channels have started giving positive reviews and added to that Unni Mukundan’s press conference in Mumbai in chaste Hindi has come as an eye opener. No Malayalam actor has such fluency in Hindi and no one has cut ice with Bollywood media like Unni.

The growing success had prompted people like RGV to post about the film. Marco is said to be most violent film of Mollywood and not of Indian cinema. But after release, it turned out to be a Indian sensation and benchmark in Indian cinema  as far as action film is considered.

Mammootty to my knowledge is one who acted in straight Hindi films and that too as hero. Not as sidekick !. If Mammooty wanted to be an addition to a Hindi film , he could have done it but he wanted to be an integral part of it. Secondly, he was not willing to camp in Mumbai and wait for an audition or appointment with Producer’s. He told me when I conveyed to him about a big banner interested in meeting him in their office in Mumbai , he said “ Let them come and meet me. After that I will  even stay at their office”.

Now a section of media is portraying that BJP channels are behind the Marco Hindi success story and that they are saying that he is a Malayalam Superstar and all that is falsehood. Unni is a BJP man and has roots are in Gujarat. He himself in his media interactions clearly said as an introduction that he is not known outside Kerala. He made his debut with Tamil film Seedan which is a remake of Malayalam film Nanadanam. It was the debut film of Prithviraj in Mollywood. In Seedan, Dhanush played a secondary role. Big budgeted prestigious film 'Spark L.I.F.E' introducing young hero Vikranth to the Telugu film industry. Mehreen Pirzada and Rukshar Dhillon are the female leads. It is special that Vikranth wrote the story and screenplay while acting as the hero for this film that has been directed by Deaf Frog Productions. PM Modi - Unni Mukundan meet lead to rejection of Mallikapuram by jury and boycott Tamil films call in Kerala

Was the Mallikapuram film ignored for a State Award in Kerala due to its alleged propagation of Hindu religion by the Left Government? Alternatively, could it have been overlooked because the film's hero, Unni Mukundan, met PM Modi during his recent visit to Kochi? Despite being a blockbuster hit and garnering praise for the child actor's performance, Devananda, the film didn't receive an award. Director Viji Thampi, who is associated with Viswa Hindu Parishad, stated that during his time as a member of the National awards jury the previous year, there was no interference from the Ministry. This year, the State jury received a pre-determined list of award winners. Interestingly, Devananda also acted in another successful film in 2018. Furthermore, the Kerala film jury had BJP leader Gautami, who is also the Chairperson of the Regional Censor Board, as one of its members.

Director Vinayan, the founder President of MACTA (Kerala Cine Technicians Association), expressed his opposition to the FEFSI's call for using only Tamil actors in Tamil films. In response, he suggested halting the release of Tamil films in Kerala. Vinayan clarified that although he has great respect for the Tamil film industry, and has even directed Tamil films like "Kasi" featuring Vikram, he believes FEFSI's stance goes against the principles of federalism and unity as one nation. Vinayan pointed out that many actors, including Kamal Haasan, have simultaneous releases in Kerala and achieve significant box office success, earning over Rs 150 crores at theaters in the state. He acknowledged that the call for using only Tamil actors in Tamil films has garnered support from various quarters, and in Kerala, there is no objection from the State Government or any film trade body. Regarding his film "19 Noothand," which received three State awards, some criticism arose, suggesting that the film, based on a historical character that brought about social changes, deserved better recognition. In response, Vinayan mentioned that he did not anticipate receiving these awards and expressed gratitude to Chalchitra Academy Chairman Ranjith for the recognition.

Director Shankar has commenced the post-production work of Indian 2. According to internal reports, computer-generated imagery (CG) has been utilized not only for the late actors Nedumudi Venu and Vivek but also to depict Kamal Haasan's character, Senapathi, as a 30-year-old in the movie. CG has been employed in various Hindi films as well, such as "Dhoni: The Untold Story" to portray the childhood days of actor Sushanth, "Lal Singh Chaddha" featuring Aamir Khan, and "Fan" starring Shah Rukh Khan. In an interview, Lokesj mentioned that in the film "Vikram," they also used CG to depict Kamal Haasan, but due to its length, they couldn't include it in the final cut to avoid increasing the runtime. However, he assured that the CG portions will be released at a later stage.

Rajinikanth "Jailer" has received a U/A certification and has a total runtime of 2 hours and 48 minutes. The first half of the film spans one hour and 19 minutes, while the second half is one hour and 29 minutes long. The audio launch event will take place at Chennai Nehru Stadium on July 28th. Among the songs in the movie, two have already become hits, both composed by Anirudh. The lead actress in the film is Tamannaah, and the cast also includes Mohanal and Shivarajkumar.

 Keerthy Suresh officially turned producer with the launch of Malayalam film Vaashi opposite Tovino. Priya Bhavani Shankar makes her Tollywood debut opposite Naga Chaitanya. Nag's ex wife Samantha paired opposite Unni Mukundan for a Telugu film. Nayanthara and Shruti Haasan bleed producers of Chiranjeevi- Balakrishna films.

Revathy Kala Mandir is a banner that was run by Keerthy's father Suresh. This banner had produced blockbuster hits and also duds. It was lying dormant and now it has been dusted and revived. Keerthy who has a all South market and Tovino Thomas , a hero with reasonable market teams up for Vaashi ( dogged- persistent) directed by newcomer Vishnu G Raghav, who has previously acted in a couple of films including ‘Theevram’.

‘Vaashi’  story penned by Janiz Chacko Simon and screenplay by director Vishnu. The film has Neil Dcunha as the cinematographer, Kailas Menon as the music director and Mahesh Narayanan handling the edits. Film had an official launch in Keerthy's home town Thiruthavanathapuram at a temple and attended by father Suresh and her mother Menaka.

Naga Chaitanya who is to do a web series directed by Vikram Kumar will have Tamil heartthrob Priya Bhavani Shankar as the heroine.  Currently he is acting in a film which has his father Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna. Naga is pared opposite Kirti Shetty of Uppena - Shyam Singha Roy fame in this film. His recent release was Love Story with Sai Pallavi.

Meanwhile Samantha has signed a heroine centric film Yashoda directed by Hari and Harish Sanakar. Incidentally, close friends and family of Samantha call her Yashoda. The hero of the film is Malayalam hero Unni Mukundan. Unni acted in Janatha Garage’, in which he got to share screen space with Mohanlal and Jr NTR. Later, he did ‘Bhaagamathie’, in which he was paired with Anushka Shetty. Unni is also playing a major role in Ravi Teja’s upcoming film ‘Khiladi’, also starring Arjun Sarja. Samantha  made her first public appearance for her singer friend Chimayi Sripaada. Samantha inaugurated her friend’s beauty salon – Deep Skin Dialogues in Chennai. Samantha shares a great friendship with Chinmayi and the singer’s husband Rahul Ravindran. It is learnt that the bonding between the trio began from the early stages of her career. Samantha charged a whopping Rs 1.5 cr for a special song in Pushpa.
