The Mumbai event of Kalki 2898 AD to take place today evening saw Kamal Haasan arrive by a private jey at the private airport of Mumbai and he was spotted boardinga Benz. South Korean artist Sung Choi, known for his work with Marvel Studios, Disney, Warner Bros, and Netflix Animation, has accused the makers of Kalki 2898 AD of plagiarizing his artwork. Sung took to social media to voice his frustration, sharing a screenshot from the film’s opening scene alongside his original piece, which was created a decade ago. "Unauthorized use of the artwork is a bad practice. This makes me question doing art in this lawless environment. @Kalki2898AD @VyjayanthiFilms #kalki2898ad," he wrote, tagging the film’s social media handles. From the unofficial replies, the efforts seem to be putting the blame on VFX team and absolve Director Nag from any plagarism. UK market is showing solid respose in terms of advance booking.

Kalki 2898 AD trailor gets less views on YouTube and X slams content

Kalki 2898 AD trailor response has the makers worried and also elated. First reason is that in 24 hrs after release, it has not become the number one in views as far as a Telugu film is considered. The figure is at 14 million views and that is less than Mahesh Babu Guntur Kaaram and Prabhas Salaar. In fact, if views taken across all languages, Salaar holds the record with 112.3 million.
