Is Vyjayanthimala Bali seriously ill ? This question has been asked in film circles of Bollywood and Kollywood. Umpteen calls have come asking about her health condition since yesterday. Her son Suchindra Bali could not be contacted. Vyjayanthimala was much more than just a film star—she was a celebrated Bharatanatyam dancer and a true pan-India icon, ruling Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema like no other actress of her time. Dr. Bali, a Punjabi Hindu Arya Samaji from Delhi, was Raj Kapoor’s personal physician. He married Vyjayanthimala in 1968. After their marriage, Vyjayanthimala stepped away from the film industry and moved to Chennai. Dr. Bali passed away in 1986. Born in 1972 in Mumbai, Suchindra Bali initially pursued a career in law, studying at Delhi University, before finding his way into modeling and acting. Though he never planned to enter films, a chance photo in a Tamil daily led to his debut in Kannodu Kanbathellam, followed by roles in Mugavaree and Aanch, where he shared the screen with Nana Patekar. He married Nandini in 2009, and they have a child together. After the death of DrBali, Vyjayanthimala fought for the family property of her husband as she wanted it to be passed on to Suchindra.

Prabhu has assured that Annai illam the residence of his Late father Shivaji Ganesan will not go under the hammer. He told Producer K Rajan after seeing the veteran film maker weeping in an interview to a YouTube channel about the court order of auctioning the part of the iconic house of the Late Thespian. According to sources in the High court registry, the complainant seeking attachment of Annai Illam only gave the Chennai corporation registration numbers and survey numbers and said it was owned partly by debtor’s father Ram Kumar. After death of Shivaji Ganesan , the partition deed had given the house to second son Prabhu. As Dushyanth, son of eldest son Ram Kumar operates from Annai illam, the complainant on assumption that the house was jointly owned by two sons of the Late actor gave this false information. The judge on learning through media reports that the he had ordered auction of Annai Illam was taken aback. Sources say that not only this complainant but some other financiers too are holding registered papers that Dushyanth had signed to get finance.

Kamal haasan puts off Production plans - Prabhu daughter to marry Director Adhik - Pooja Gandhi marriage 2'morrow

 

Rajkamal Films of Kamal Haasan has decided to put all production ventures in the pending list as it faces a problem with an OTT platform over funding. The said platform is under a takeover bid by another OTT platform and hencee any new projects would be approved only that. Before shooting, RKFI gets into an agreement with the OTT platform and the schedules of cash transaction’s. The amount for OTT rights is paid to RKFI in instaments while shooting and the rest comes from the production company. In view of this H Vinoth film with Kamal and STR film with Periyasamy and Vignesh with Pradeep Ranganathan is kept pending. Sivakarthiyean film under shooting has been told to cut down costs as budget has been trimmed. In view of this there is a possibility that Thug Life with Mani Rathinam might start soon.

Veteran Actor Prabhu’s Daughter Aishwarya is all set to marry Director Adhik Ravichandran of Mark Antony fame. Adhik is all set to direct Ajith in the actors next. Aishwarya married her aunt’s son Kunal and moved to USA and later she announced a bakery and that she is selling cakes baked by her. Later she came back after Kunal and she had difference of opinion. She was staying with Prabhu and somewhere along the line, she and Adhik met and fell in love. Now it seems that o December 17, she and Adhik will be married.

Vijay Sethupathi prays at Puneeth's samadhi - Drunk Malayali behind attack

Police say that it was a drunk Malayali  called Johnson  who attacked the aide of Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi  at the airport.  In a drunken state, he asked the accompanying actor to allow him to take a selfie with Vijay. As he was drunk, the aide refused permission. Enraged , he tried to barge towards Vijay. He was pushed back by the security and in a fit of rage kicked at the aide. As the airport security took him in, Johnson sobered down. Vijay who arrived in Bengaluru to shoot for Sun TV Master Chef pressed no complaint. He later paid floral tributes to Puneet samadhi at Kantaveera studio.  

Shivaraj Kumae known as Shivanna to fans said that Rajinikanth was in a state of shock when he came to know of Appu's ( Puneeth) death. He said that Rajinikanth was at the hospital and hearing the news his wife Latha and daughter phoned him up. Shivanna said that Rajini and family know Appu ( Punnet) as a child and was very attached to him. He said Prabhu, Sivakarthikeyan and Nakheeran Gopal  had come  to see him , Ram Charan and  Nagarjuna too had come to see him. Ram Charan came after finishing a schedule for Director  Shankar at Pune. Prabhu said that Puneeth and he were foodies and shared food together. He recalled that he had once fallen sick in Bengaluru and Puneet sat with him for 6 days and nursed him back.

He denied a talk that Puneet was depressed as his previous film did not run. He said that he- brother Appu and Yash danced together on stage for the pre- release event of Bhajarangi 2. He said that Puneet had a back problem and had treated it at the start of the year. He had no heart problem, said Shivaraj. He was asked why Puneet was not taken to the nearest hospital  instead of going to Vikram. He said that who knew it was so critical and all it needed was ten minutes.
