It is official! Kamal Haasan will not be hosting the forthcoming BiggBoss Tamil. He posted this in his X handle. We had told you as soon as Anil Kapoor came on board for Hindi BiggBoss OTT 3 season that changes are around the corner. Mani was celebrating his birthday ( numbers not needed) and as usual, old friends met and exchanged notes. At that time, Kamal had expressed his doubts about hosting the BB show. Reason was that his coming dates were packed with so many assignments. We made a few inquiries with our Star Vijay pals. They told us that yes it was true that in all probability Ulga Nayakan will not be hosting it. Now they could say was that Kamal would not be in Chennai vicinity or for the matter not in India to come for a weekend to host the show. All they knew was that Kamal was on an academic trip to USA. Reports said that Kamal was going to learn use of AI in films. Some said that Kamal would come on Zoom every weekend and host BB Tamil !!!. Since we as a team are not so intelligent on such techniques, we just made it clear that Kamal hosting the show was a remote possibility. Haasan believed in the importance of free speech in the country and suggested that films should be certified for specific audiences rather than being censored or edited. Regarding a specific film, The Kerala Story, Haasan mentioned that although he hadn't watched it himself, he had heard people's opinions about it. He acknowledged that certain events portrayed in the film might be based on true incidents, but cautioned against exaggerating the numbers or presenting them as a national crisis.

According to reports, Dulquer Salmaan, the renowned actor, is currently discussing a new project alongside his upcoming Telugu film with director Venky Atluri. The film is expected to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and will be produced by Rana Daggubati's Spirit Media. Alongside Dulquer, popular Tamil actor Samuthirakani will also have a significant role in the movie. An official announcement regarding this project is anticipated soon. Dulquer recently completed filming for "King of Kotha," a highly anticipated Malayalam film in which he portrays a gangster. The film is co-produced by Wayfarer Studios and Zee Studios, his production banner, and is scheduled for release in August. Additionally, the talented actor is engaged in discussions with Malayalam filmmaker Tinu Pappachan for another potential collaboration.
