Fahadh Faasil career low opening- Maareesan / Lal 's Mathew to Join Rajini Muthuvel

 

FaFa or otherwise  Fahadh Faasil has recorded the second-lowest opening for the actor in the post-COVID era. It just surpassed Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum’s 55 lakh. See Maareesan 4 day collection.

Apart from Fahadh, the film also features Vadivelu. Released yesterday (July 25), the Kollywood comedy crime thriller opened to mostly decent reviews from critics, with the leading cast getting praised for their strong performances. Even among the moviegoers, word-of-mouth is mainly on the favorable side. Many felt that the the film started as road movie shifted gear to a thriller and probably as somebody told the Director to do so as Tamil audience do not go solely by road stories and want action. What helped Maaman was the political story in it.

Fa Fa revealed his retirement plans in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India as part of the promotional campaign for his film Maareesan. He disclosed his retirement plans only after the interviewer asked him about his idea of becoming an Uber driver in Barcelona. Fahadh responded, “Ya ya, of course.” The interviewer was persistent and wanted to know the specifics. So Fahadh explained his plan: “No, I think it’ll only happen after people are done with me here, you know?” But the interviewer was confident that people were not going to get bored of their beloved FaFa.

Finally Mohanlal as Mathew is all set to join Jailer Muthuvel Pandian in the sequel. Set work is on at Attapadi in Kerala.

Vijay Devarakonda Kingdom Negativity ? / Aishwarya Lekshmi ona roll/ Fahadh- Vadivelu Rocks

 Vijay Devarakonda Kingdom is ready for a Pan India release and that includes Hindi. The second song promo is getting trolled for Anirudh’s singing. Apart from this the film’s Producer Nag Vamsi feels that he has to fight so much of negativity that is spread about the film. Releasing on July 31 the film is about a man rebellion in an island with Bhagyasree Borse for company. Jersey fame Gowtam is directing the film.

Last week, there were reports that Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, which is coming to screens on July 31, will skip theatrical release for its Hindi version due to the OTT theatrical window and other issues. However the film’s producer revealed in a recent interview that the Hindi version is getting theatrical release. “Kingdom is releasing in Hindi. We didn't add it to the poster just because we've a title issue. It'll be released on the same day with a different title like Samraj or something,” said Naga Vamsi. 

Aishwarya Lekshmi ‘s popularity in Tamil along with Joju George and Urvasi , both known to Tamil viewers, Aasha is going to be a film to be released in  5 languages. Apart from Aishwarya has announced that she is soon to be reaming up with Gautham Ramachandran again after Gargi. Aishwarya was the co= producer of Gargi and it won accolades for Sai Pallavi who played the main lead.

The title-look poster of "Aasha" was also unveiled during the ceremony, sparking interest among film enthusiasts.

The trailer of the film 'Mareesan', starring popular Tamil actors Vadivelu and Bhagat Faasil, has been released. The trailer has been viewed by more than one million viewers within a short period of its release, setting a record.

 In an announcement that could get all the Prabhu Dheva-Vadivelu combo fans excited, The untitled project is written and directed by Sam Rodrigues, who previously helmed Prabhu Dheva's Musasi. The film, produced by Kannan Ravi, has music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Vignesh Vasu, editor Anthony, and stunt choreographer Peter Hein in the technical team.

The two actors have previously collaborated in Kaadhalan (1994), Love Birds (1995), Mr Romeo (1996), Kaathala Kaathala (1998), Manadhai Thirudivittai (2001), and Engal Anna (2004). Vadivelu has also featured in Prabhu Dheva's directorials Pokkiri (2007) and Villu (2009).

 

Fahadh- Vadivelu film Plot / Deepshika joins Sudeep / Vanitha Vijaykumar - Robert Siva Rathri angers Raja

 Maareesan will feature Vadivelu as an Alzheimer's patient who is affluent. When Fahadh Faasil's character sees Vadivelu withdrawing a sum of money from the ATM, he devises a plan to loot him. He offers to take Vadivelu, who is en route to Thiruvannamalai, till Nagercoil on his bike. However, the two bond over the journey. Whether the former robs the latter or not forms the crux of the film.This film is Sudheesh Sankar's second Tamil directorial venture, following Aarumaname (2009). Sudheesh is well-known for his work in Malayalam television and films, such as 2014's Villali Veeran. It also stars Vivek Prasanna as the friend of Fahadh's character, as well as PL Thenappan and Kovai Sarala as cops. The cast also includes Sithara, Livingston, Saravana Subbiah, Renuka, Krishna, Telephone Raja, and Haritha. On the technical front, Maareesan has composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, editor Sreejith Sarang, and cinematographer Kalaiselvan Sivaji. 

actor Deepshikha, known for her work in Michael, Ravikula Raghurama, and Maargan, has been finalised for one of the lead roles in Kocha Sudeep 47. She was also spotted at the muhurath event, hinting at her prominence in the story.
Another major addition to the cast is Naveen Chandra, who is said to be playing the main antagonist. Known for his work across Telugu and Tamil cinema. Kichcha Sudeep’s K47 has officially gone on floors with a simple muhurath ceremony held in Chennai. Directed by Vijay Karthikeyan, the film is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and marks Sudeep’s second collaboration with the director after Max.

actor Vanitha Vijaykumar and choreographer Robert's latest outing, Mrs & Mr hits theatres on Friday; the film has landed in legal trouble over the unauthorised usage of a song composed by veteran music composer Ilaiyaraaja.

The 'Siva Rathiri' song from Kamal Haasan's Michael Madana Kama Rajan (1990) has reportedly been used without permission in the film. The original song features Kamal Haasan and Rupini in a duet. Ilaiyaraaja's legal team has reportedly filed a case in the Chennai High Court seeking the removal of the song from Mrs & Mr.

In a video that went viral on the internet, the passengers were left pleasantly surprised. The megastar thanked them for the welcome and waved at his fans with a sweet smile.

Good Bad Ugly is likely to premiere on May 8, and in addition to the original Tamil version, other dubbed versions are also expected to stream on the platform. Usually, Kollywood films have a four-week theatrical window, which means that films arrive on OTT four weeks or 28 days after theatrical release. Even the Ajith Kumar starrer reportedly has a four-week window.

Directed by Sundar C, Gangers ,the Kollywood action comedy opened to mixed reviews from critics. Even among the ticket-buying audience, it is faring with mixed word-of-mouth. As a result, there was not much improvement on day 2. Morning shows started with 9% occupancy. There was some growth of up to 13% in the afternoon shows. Evening shows saw an occupancy of 14%, followed by 19% at night.

Reportedly, Gangers is made on a budget of just 16 crores. Against this cost, it has already earned 1.23 crores in 2 days. If calculated, the film has recovered 7.68% of the total budget. Considering the poor trend, it is unlikely to recover its cost and is heading towards the verdict of flop or losing at the Indian box office.

For Sundar C, it will be a big blow as his last directorial venture, Aranmanai 4, was a commercial winner and it earned 100.24 crore gross globally.

Illaiyaraaja- Thalapathy to sing for GOAT - Vadivelu- Faahad film a road journey

Almost after a decade, Thalapathy Vijay and Ilaiyaraaja are coming together for the ongoing film directed by Venkat Prabhu and titled G O A T. The duo will croon a song together under the baton of Yuvan Shankar Raja. The icing to the cake is that lyrics are by Gangai Amaraan. Records show that 23 years back Raaja had scored music for Friends that had Vijay in the lead and directed by Siddique. Before that Raaja’s scored for Kathaluku Mariyadai which was Vijay’s biggest blockbuster of that time. This film was a Malayalam remake of Fazil’s Aniyathi Pravu. Venkat Prabhu who is considered a part of Raaja family has managed this coup. Yuvan scored for Vijay film Puthiya Geethai in 2003 and it was the only film in Yuvan’s 25 year career that he scored for a Vijay film. As a singer he crooned for Vijay’s Master under Anirudh music and before that he sang for Friends the hit song Ruku Ruku under his father baton for Vijay. Illaiyaraaja who attended the Artist Maniam’s exhibition told reporters that the film PS did not give the same feel that he got from reading Kalki’s literary prose and Manian’s drawings . He said that he appreciated the publishers of PS for keeping the copyright over the work for 46 years. He said that he has been struggling to keep the copyright from his first film Annakili onwards. Coming back to GOAT , Sneha who finished a schedule with Vijay and that too as his pair revealed that after Vassegaran released in 2003 , she received an offer several decades later to play sister in law of Vijay in Varisu. She declined it. She felt that that decision prompted Venkat to cast her as Vijay’s pair in GOAT. After meeting Vijay on the sets, she asked how he retained his youth and he said that he too had the same question to her. Role that Sneha rejected was done by Sangeetha Krish in Varisu.

The duo recently recorded the track for the upcoming film "Maamannan", which is said to be the last film of Udhaynidhi Stalin before he became a minister in his father's State cabinet. 2018 film moves towards Rs 100 crore club On Friday, the Malayalam film " 2018 -Everyone Is A Hero," directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and based on the 2018 Kerala floods, was released in theatres. The movie's opening day collection was Rs 1.85 crore, which increased significantly on the second day. Trade analysts and industry trackers reported that the film collected Rs 3.22 crore on Saturday, bringing the two-day total collection to Rs 5.07 crore. The movie received positive reviews, and the word-of-mouth publicity resulted in more screens being added in theatres in Kerala and Bengaluru.
