Coolie Trailor show RAJINI FAN BASE INTACT / GVP sister in Suriya -Venky film

While its view count was lower, the trailer for Coolie demonstrated the power of its dedicated fanbase. Unveiled on August 2, the trailer for the Rajinikanth starrer registered a strong 23.2 million cumulative views in its first 24 hours. More notably, it generated a massive 1.1 million likes, significantly higher than War 2, against a minuscule 1% dislike ratio. This indicates extremely high positive engagement from the core audience of the superstar and director Lokesh Kanagaraj. While War 2 won the viewership race, Coolie‘s metrics suggest that its audience is deeply invested and highly enthusiastic, promising a powerful start at the ticket window. Among the most talked-about moments is Aamir Khan’s appearance. His short screen time has triggered a flood of memes and playful trolling on X (formerly Twitter). Some fans have taken a humorous jab at his expressions and role, while others believe his intentionally offbeat presence adds a quirky twist to the film. And if early reactions are any indication, Aamir Khan’s cameo—memes and all—may end up being one of the film’s unexpected talking points.

The trailer for War 2, which dropped on July 25, made an earth-shattering debut on YouTube. Across its Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions, the trailer amassed a colossal 55 million cumulative views within its first 24 hours. The trailer also garnered an impressive 721,000 likes,

Dhanush - Mrunal Thakur share a Spotify playlist- So What ? / Rajini tells Shruti -Your Dad is my Nanban

Mrunal and Dhanush could be seen sharing a brief hug during the film's screening, and fans on reddit figured out that the duo are the latest couple in Indian cinema. Dhanush is freshly single after a divorce from his wife, Aishwarya, and Mrunal has been single ever since she shot to fame with Sita Ramam. Speculations of them dating each other quickly spread on social media, with fans even claiming that they share a Spotify playlist. One enthusiastic fan even discovered a separate playlist of Tamil songs named "Maama's Favs" on Mrunal's Spotify account, further escalating the rumors. As of now, there is no proof of the duo seeing each other, and Mrunal is yet to act in a Tamil film. Look at their joint Spotify account. From when Mrunal started listening tamil songs?? And that too Ilayaraja songs. Those are Danush fav says a fan. another giveaway- Their playlist name is ghengis it's the name of Dhanush's dog.And Mrunal share one more play list something called lingaghost .Linga is the name of Dhanush's younger son

Fans speculate that this film may have ignited a romance between the two. All this is speculation, and it remains to be seen if either of the two will clarify the growing buzz. List of Known Boyfriends of Mrunal Thakur

The  Coolie trailer that was released begins with a voiceover. The voice says, "I am someone who believes that as soon as a person is born, their forehead bears the name of the person in whose hands they will die."

Another voice, trembling with fear, says, "If it becomes known that a man can be removed from the world without leaving a trace, it can be a disaster."

Then we have the voice of a third person, presumably that of an investigating officer, saying, "I don't think their growth is solely due to this network. They are doing something huge inside."

Then we see Soubin Shahir announcing to the workers in the port, "Among the 14,400 people here, I need that one coolie."

The trailer then shows Sathyaraj delivering his famous laugh, that he usually uses to mock his opponents. The actor says,"For thirty years, I have been keeping someone offline. If he gets to know..."

Eventually, we see Sathyaraj questioning Rajinikanth,"Who asked you to come over here?"

The trailer then moves on to show a conversation between Shruti Haasan and Rajinikanth. Shruti Haasan says, "You are used to living in solitude. He was just your friend. But he's our father." Rajinikanth responds,"Super. He may be your father but he is my friend." The trailer then gives a glimpse into the action sequences.

From the trailer, it is evident that Rajinikanth is a close friend of Sathyaraj and has been maintaining a low profile until the time he realises his friend is in grave danger. He chooses to come to Sathyaraj's aid despite Sathyaraj's daughter Shruti Haasan's protests. What happens then is what the film is all about...

It may be recalled that the Censor Board has cleared the explosive action entertainer for release with an A certificate.

Coolie has already triggered huge expectations. In fact, it has made headlines by becoming the highest overseas procurement for a Tamil film to date.

Rumours doing the rounds in the industry also suggest that director Lokesh Kanakaraj's much awaited action entertainer may well reach audiences in over a 100 countries around the world when the film hits screens on August 14 this year.

Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars stalwarts from the Indian film industry like Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Aamir Khan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles.

Coolie', featuring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead, on Saturday released the complete audio of the film, comprising eight tracks including the instrumental number 'Coolie Disco', much to the delight of fans and film buffs.

SHOCKING :Inside Story of Kingdom Trailor Launch / Coolie no TIME TRAVEL BUT WATCHES YES

Navin Nooli, arguably the best editor in Tollywood—and currently among the top in the country—gave sharp trailer cut visuals to Anirudh for scoring and mixing. And this was handed over either last night or early this morning. That itself is shocking.

This trailer launch was announced days ago. A huge event was planned, with Anirudh expected to travel from Chennai to Tirupati—by road or air. All they needed from him was to finish the BGM, send it for final mixing, and attend the event.

But  the final trailer mixing didn’t come from Anirudh’s end.

Now to be fair—he’s been juggling two major releases within a 15-day gap. And naturally, he seems to be prioritizing "Coolie", as he should. Also, Gowtam Tinnanuri, being a perfectionist, was fine-tuning visuals till the last minute. That too delayed Ani’s timeline.

Result? For the first time ever, a trailer launch event happened with raw, unscored visuals—no BGM done. Just rough edits. Disgusting.

With only 5 days left for release, the team was already behind schedule. But to add to that, this kind of mismanagement .

It reflects poorly on everyone:

• Producer Nagavamsi, who often boasts of understanding how to work with Anirudh.
• Director Gowtam Tinnanuri, who made a national award-winning film like Jersey.
• Even Anirudh, for continuing the habit of last-minute deliveries, risking reputations.

Lokesh has said that Coolie is not about Time travel and the trailor on August 2 will clear all doubts. He said that the plot does deal with luxurious watches and watch factories but the story going around that Rajini gets a watch that takes him on a time travel is fake. Coolie has nothing to do with LC.U “Right after Coolie’s Release, I’ll resume the work on LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) Origin. It’ll have all the connections for Kaithi and Vikram. It’s a 10-minute short film, but it has Anirudh’s music and Anbariv Masters’ work as well.”,  said Lokesh.
