Keerthy Suresh gets dragged into Dad's v/s Mohanlal Producer war / Vidamuyurchi Netflix date out

Keerthy Suresh has been dragged into the war between her Dad Suresh Kumar and Producer Antony Perumbavoor over the budget leak about forthcoming film Empuran The Malayalam film starring Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj. Suresh who is vice president of Kerala Producers association had stated that among many things, increasing renumeration of actors as a reason for production costs increasing and films failing to make the box office cut. As a counter right from Vinakayan Jailor villain to TV star turned supporting actor Jayan Cherthala has pointed that Suresh should rein in his daughter who is taking crores for a film. Keerthy has acted in few Malayalam films and the last was Vaashi opposite Tovino that was produced by her father. The film though a dud at theatre release made a profit by OTT rights as Keerthy and Tovino post Minnal Murali were known outside Kerala and hence got a good price. Even in Tamil – Telugu and in Bollywood ( Baby John ) , she never got paid in crores for a film , even it it was opposite big names like Thalapathy Vijay and Sivakarthikeyan .

With Antony the Producer of Empuran going full blast at Suresh for revealing the budget , latest controversy is that in an interview to Kaumudi Movies, Keerthy’s Dad mentioned that he avoids shooting in Kochi locales as the `culture’ does not suit him. Many on Reddit have slammed him for this. Suresh declined to elaborate on this Kochi culture. Kerala Producers Association has stood by Suresh while Actors body AMMA has backed Antony Petumbavoor. Mohanlal and Suresh are Thiruvanthapuram based and were schoolmates. Suresh was Mohanlal’s first Producer.Both maintain cordial relationship but this time they are on opposite sides. Many have asked Keerthy to rein in her Dad who like a bull in a China shop is raging every day. Mohanlal shared Antony’s FB post criticizing Suresh and commented Lets us be with Cinema. Ajith Visamuyurchi picks up after Day 2 lull / Alanceir calls Big B and Rajini Bad actors

Ajith’s Vidaamiuyarchi is facing a tough situation at the box office on the second day itself. Ajith and Magizh Thirumeni’s action thriller was released in theaters this Thursday and emerged as the career biggest opener for Ajith with around 50 Cr gross. Even getting 20 Cr gross itself looks very tough on day 2, which is definitely a bad sign for the film’s box office. The movie must see a big jump in the two days to get a good total at the box office. on 2nd day the film saw a big drop in numbers and collected around 20 Cr gross worldwide. The positive sign for the film is after the drop in the morning, matinees and other later shows had a good jump, and today, the film is trending better than yesterday. Vidaamuyarchi 2 Days Box Office Collections are out now, and to achieve the breakeven, Ajith’s film should collect around 225 Cr gross, and the recovery is just around 30%. The film needs to have a huge jump over the weekend.

The latst reports say that Vidaamuyarchi release date is locked and said to have informed their distributors that they are getting ready to release the film on 30th January. Sources say that discussions with the production team of Hollywood film, Breakdown, and a solution is expected to arrive very soon .January end release has no holidays but the producers have only that release option as Ajith’s Good Bad and Ugly (GBF) release date has been announced. Suriya's RETRO had planned for April 10th but GBD coming on that date has made them eye May 1st as Coolie is likely to be postponed.

Coolie starring Rajinikanth and with Aamir Khan in a cameo is looking at August 14th as release date. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has all the potential to get North Indian audience but it looks like that Hrithik Roshan – NTR Jr’s WAR is coming on that date. This means that Coolie is at risk of losing the North audience and also that it will lose both Telugu speaking States as WAR has NTR Jr. NTR post RRR which was a big hit in North is a familiar face in North. Overseas too the biggest pull is from Hindi and Telugu audience and WAR has the advantage.

 Teaser of  Vidaamuyarchi shows a scene  of Hollywood film it.  Did it appear deliberately in this teaser or was it a indication that the film is a crossover of IT  film character Bowers and the hero of Breakdown. The teaser shows  a missing persons board and a  paper clipping of the Harry Bowers missing. Was is  a goof up or an indication of things to come ?  

Is the antagonist in Vidamuyurchi modelled on Harry Bowers ? Henry Bowers, the character in Stephen King's "It," is portrayed as a bully and is generally mean to others, including girls. Ajith’s VidaaMuyarchi Teaser to Arrive November 10

Ajith’s  VidaaMuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions, is  up for a Pongal 2025 release, tentatively scheduled for January 9.

Actor Arav, who plays a pivotal role, has commenced dubbing for his character, with the remaining cast members - actor Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, and Nikhil Nair.

Another exciting news is that Pranav Mohanlal is making his Tamil debut in a film co-produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films. The project that was launched by Vignesh Kumar’s Wealth Eye Cinemas has now taken a bigger turn after Dulquer has entered the project. Anusha Pillai who was AD to film featuring Kamal Haasan, V K Prakash and Director Kamal is helming the project. Vettaiyan title look review - Narain- Lokesh to say about LCU - Nirav Shah out of Ajith film

Rajinikanth 170 has been titled Vettaiyan and teaser was released yesterday by Lyca. The teaser according to many is a collage of Rajini’s previous film Jailer is one comment. Many felt it was unseen scenes from Jailer. Many said that the film teaser does not have any grandeur. Some mischievously asked whether Rajini was. playing a blind man as he was wearing sunglasses. Rajini fans said that Rajini punch dialogue that if one focus on a target then it has to fall was indirectly aimed at Vijay’s Leo dialogue writer Rathna Kumar who kicked started the controversy on Rajini’s Superstardom. They said that Anirudh BGM at that scene of an Eagle scream was very apt as Rajini said that an Eagle never bothers about crows as he flies sky high. It was an ominous sound for Rathna Kumar. Some pointed out that Veetaiyan character in Chandramukhi was played by Lawrence in the sequel and made a mess of it.

Latest on Vidamuyarchi the Ajith film is that cameraman Nirav Shah who did the first schedule has now been replace by Om Prakash. Nirav has worked in four of Ajith films and also a sort of Ajith life chronicler as he accompanies the actor on his global Biking tour and video graph them.
