 Hridyapoorvam Starring Mohanlal with Malavika Mohanan has Meera Jasmine and Basil Joseph in cameo roles. The plot is about a 45 year old bachelor who goes to Pune to attend the wedding reception of the man who donated his heart . The wedding foes not take place and the bachelor suffers a fall and injures his back. He cannot travel and has to stay back to get it cured. What follows is the plot. Prasanth Neel – NTR film Dragon has added Aishwarya Lekshmi to the cast. Already from Mollywood, Tovino Thomas who plays the bad guy and Biju Menon are on the cast. Rukmini Vasanth is the heroine. Aishwarya was last seen in Thug Life directed by Mani Ratnam. SHOCKER - WAR 2 WEAK OPENING in HINDI / MAHAVATAR BREAKS HINDI RECORDS

In India, the advance bookings of War 2 opened on Saturday evening, and the initial trend in India is also not impressive for now. The film sells around 25K tickets in national chains, which is nowhere near the trend of films like Jawan, Pathaan, Pushpa 2, Tiger 3, and Animal.

Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s War 2 Hindi advance sales still continue to struggle, and they are even lower than this year’s releases, Sikandar, Saiyaara, and Chhaava. 

The Hindi version has initial expectations of 50 Cr – 55 Cr opening net, but at the current trend, the opening is likely to be in the range of 30 Cr, and if the momentum picks up highly in these 3 days and if the movie receives unanimous positive WOM, then it may take a 40 Cr+ opening.

Siddharth‘s film has made the lowest debut for a film that arrived on an OTT platform other than Netflix after ending its entire theatrical run. During its theatrical run, the film earned 12.34 crore net in India. 3BHK, in its debut week, garnered a viewership of 1.2 million, taking the fifth spot in the list of the most-watched films in India on OTT for the week of July 28 – August 3, as per Ormax data.

 Coolie has nothing to lose by clashing with WAR 2 on August 15^th. For one, Coolie budget does not make it very necessary for it cash in on North Indian markets like WAR 2. The overseas Tamil market and to agreat extent Telugu markets will still plump for Coolie as everybody wants to see what magic has Lokesh created for Thalaivar as he did for Kamal and Vijay. Thirdly the film WAR 2 will not create any much hoopla that a Hindi film has in South and NTR Jr is no Bunny – Prabhas who has a Pan South preence. So WAR2 with Hrithik Roshan who is not around for a long time, is the loser as NTR Jr tag will help only in two Telugu States. NTR Jr film starts next week - Mohanlal takes Thalapathy route / Ajith biggest Monday drop

After KGF and Kalki, finally NTR Jr and Prasanth Neel film is to begin next week. Production sources in Mythiri have confirmed this. Neel has Salaar 2 in hand and this will move according to Prabhas – Prithviraj dates. Post Devara, NTR Jr is on a high as it is a hit even in Hindi belt ( though not as big as Pushpa 2). The meeting between Neel and Ajith gave room for a possibility of them working together. Neet- NTR film is a standalone film. Last August, official announcement was made. Director of KGF and Salarr series, NTR and Neel combo will be most exciting happening. NTR and director Prashanth Neel has already been scheduled for release on January 9, 2026. Recently, the Chiranjeevi-Anil Ravipudi project also joined the Sankranti lineup, as confirmed by producer Sahu Garapati.

Mohanlal Directorial debut film Barroz is based on a book Maya written by a German- Malayalee writer Thundiparambil is the claim in a legal notice send by the author. While fleeing the Dutch, the Portguese killed the Kappiris and along with them buried gold. Portugese believed that the souls of Kappiri would protect the Gold. Now George novel has a girl Maya who can see Kappiri and communicate with him and in turn becomes the guardian of the buried treasure. A similar plot is the story of Barroz, claims George. He says that his book was given to Director T K Rajeev Kumar and latter said that he would he would give it to Jijo. The film has been in the making since 2021. Jijo who has written the book had copyrighted it in 2017. Due to several changes in script and actors, Jijo opted out of Direction and screenplay writing. Mohanlal turned Director and T K Rajeev Kumar as Assistant. Plans were to release trailor in Abhu Dhabi and theatrical release on September 12.

Music Industry is shocked that a music label like Sony Music has been accused by a top notch music composer Santosh Narayanan of altering the lines and music arrangement and releasing it. The teaser opens with SJ Suryah’s voiceover who designates the unique nature of Nani whose character name is Surya. Like every other human being, the protagonist also gets angry, but he doesn’t show it every day. What’s so unique about him is he writes down all the incidents on paper and starts hunting those who bothered him on Saturdays. The glimpse ends with SJ Suryah who played a cop wishing Nani on his birthday. From the beginning, Vivek Athreya has been showing his distinctiveness by making films with first-of-its-kind concepts. And, he is making a pakka commercial entertainer for the first time. The way he presented Nani’s character and the way he cut the teaser is impressive. Nani’s character design is very fresh. He sported a rugged, yet stylish look. His screen presence is terrific, though he has no dialogue in the teaser. The mass destructive energy of Nani makes everyone go gaga over it. The way he smokes the cigarette brings dynamism to the character. The scene where he rides the rikshaw with Ajay Ghosh sitting in the back seat is admirable. The action blocks are sharply cut. The frames captured by Murali G are top-notch, while Jakes Bejoy enhanced the visuals with his terrific score. The song Samavardhi in the background gives elevation to Nani’s character. The production values of DVV Entertainments are high. On the whole, we get to witness a fiery show of Nani through the teaser which makes a lasting impression.
