Vijay sethupathi faceoff with StarVijay at BiggBoss8 Tamil Finale

Vijay Sethupathi and Star Vijay head Bala’s rift over conducting the BigBoss8 Tamil came out in the open at the finale of the reality show. Balachandran Ratnavel head of Star Vijay and in charge of fiction program in his speech at finale said that Vijay Sethupathi ( VJS) when approached said at the outset that BiggBoss show is one show that he does not like and does not watch it. Later he agreed saying that he will do as told to do. By the 20-13th episode, he said that in the next season he will tell us as to how to go about selecting candidates. At this point, VJS cut in and said that he did not mean it that way . He clarified that he meant that he will guide the channel in selecting the candidates as there was a charge that Star Vijay channel’s actors are selected for the show.

To cut it an embrace from Bala and VJS took place as a reproachment. VJS was gaga over a great show that was built by Kamal Haasan over past 7 years as host. We do not whether VJS has said more on the practice of selecting channel actors for the show and giving then a hand in glove approach and it was edited. His open defiance to the BB and it finally led to an open war with contestant Jacqueline during the weekend shoot in which VJS took part. The channel decided to evict him for disobedience in front of the host. Here VJS struck back saying that many such rule breaking took place by Jeffry and it was overlooked and now don’t put this on my head and escape. As a compromise Jeffry was evicted but without put it on VJS and termed it as unavoidable circumstances. VJS had at many times given the gaana singer a pat and also warned him that there was a politics going on using him. He meant that as long as the singer gave content, he was safe and retained by channel. Similarly, VJS was not in favor of RJ Anandhi going out. When Jacqueline had to go out as she lost a game, Jeffry and Sathya did a jig inside the house. All others were in shock and tears. When Jacqueline made a reference to it in the finale, VJS said that the duo was only laughing at the crocodile tears shed by the contestants. In another point in the finale, VJS passed a tongue in cheek comment saying all were not as bold as Jeffry and chose to play safe game. The impromptu jig to viewers looked very distasteful and many felt even more offended at their distasteful behavior at the function. Similarly VJS dig at Raanav whose film is due for release was in bad taste. He took a swipe the actor saying – “ If you and me are to act together in a film , I will quit the filmdom itself “.

Bigg Boss 8 Tamil contestant Ranjith got his private parts stomped over by Dharsha Gupta in a task. Many women contestants were badly mauled badly by the men as part of the game. It has led to a debate of whether an unequal physical competition between men and women and without any rules or a safety gear can be allowed on public TV. Many point out that even WWF does not have a fight between men and women regularly as it an era of PG rating. BiggBoss8 Tamil task which led to a free for all between men and women contestants saw Actor Ranjith , one of the contestant, complaining that another contestant Dharsha Gupta had stamped over his genital parts – not once but twice. A video clip shows Dharsha in a bid to get back the black ring, walked across by stomping on the `balls” of Renjith. After it became public ,the netizens are debating whether the action was right and was Ranjith right in making it public. Many of the girls too got badly mauled by boys in the contest.

Meanwhile Suriya is to shoot for Unstoppable with NBK ( Balakrishna) tomorrow ( October 24^th) that will be telecast on November 1^st. It is part of Kanguva promotion. On October 25^th, first episode of Season 4 starts with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. It comes on Aha Telugu.
