This is the kind of film Mani wanted to make, and I wanted to do it too—so we are doing it.” He added - “The story has numerous characters, played by exceptionally talented actors from Malayalam, Hindi, and Telugu cinema. Keerthy Suresh gets dragged into Dad's v/s Mohanlal Producer war / Vidamuyurchi Netflix date out

Keerthy Suresh has been dragged into the war between her Dad Suresh Kumar and Producer Antony Perumbavoor over the budget leak about forthcoming film Empuran The Malayalam film starring Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj. Suresh who is vice president of Kerala Producers association had stated that among many things, increasing renumeration of actors as a reason for production costs increasing and films failing to make the box office cut. As a counter right from Vinakayan Jailor villain to TV star turned supporting actor Jayan Cherthala has pointed that Suresh should rein in his daughter who is taking crores for a film. Keerthy has acted in few Malayalam films and the last was Vaashi opposite Tovino that was produced by her father. The film though a dud at theatre release made a profit by OTT rights as Keerthy and Tovino post Minnal Murali were known outside Kerala and hence got a good price. Even in Tamil – Telugu and in Bollywood ( Baby John ) , she never got paid in crores for a film , even it it was opposite big names like Thalapathy Vijay and Sivakarthikeyan .

With Antony the Producer of Empuran going full blast at Suresh for revealing the budget , latest controversy is that in an interview to Kaumudi Movies, Keerthy’s Dad mentioned that he avoids shooting in Kochi locales as the `culture’ does not suit him. Many on Reddit have slammed him for this. Suresh declined to elaborate on this Kochi culture. Kerala Producers Association has stood by Suresh while Actors body AMMA has backed Antony Petumbavoor. Mohanlal and Suresh are Thiruvanthapuram based and were schoolmates. Suresh was Mohanlal’s first Producer. Both maintain cordial relationship but this time they are on opposite sides. Many have asked Keerthy to rein in her Dad who like a bull in a China shop is raging every day. Mohanlal shared Antony’s FB post criticizing Suresh and commented Lets us be with Cinema. Film Exhibitors Federation chairman and producer Liberty Basheer denounced the unilateral decision by the producers' association to not screen films from June 1

Ajith Kumar's Vidaamuyarchi hit the big screens on February 5. Vidaamuyarchi is expected to debut on Netflix on March 7, 2025 ..

Vijay - Trisha at Keerthy Suresh wedding in Goa - 2morrow MGR and Jayalalithaa

Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha going together to Foa for wedding of their common friend Keerty Suresh in Goa in a private chartered jet from Chennai. See Manifest. has triggered off a hashtag SaveSangeetha, Those who saw the video say that the Vijay- Trisha trip was not just an extension of the earlier trips that the duo made abroad and people must unite to save Vijay's wife Sangeetha from her marriage from breaking don. The broad belief is that Vijay and Trisha are in a relationship and that is why Sangeetha is not making her public appearance with hubby.. It seems Dad SAC and mom are helpless. Some say Sangeetha is away in London and her son Sanjay who has turned Director is with her. Vijay's daughter too is with mom in London.

Trisha on same day the video of her going to Goa with Vijay surfaced,, posted a photo of herself and the announcement that she is doing the Suriya film with R J Balaji as director. Vijay's political enemies have not made any comment on this. As some point out that travelling together for a friends wedding is no sin.

Ironically, Bride Keerthy Suresh was herself a victim of rumours linking her to Vijay after she acted with him. Her manager was also to Vijay madeit more believable. At that time, it was Keerthy Suresh who was the home breaker.

In defense of Trisha travelling with Vijay, it is pointed out that along with the duo there was five others. So it was not a private trip. Bismi a YouTuber likened it to Jayalalithaa accompanying MGR when he was CM. So it was perfectly normal for Trisha to go along with Vijay was the argument. Bismi adds that Jayalalithaa used to read all files before MGR signed them. In short a sort of trial of a period when Vijay becomes CM and Trisha is his secretary.

Trisha posted a new picture of herself on social media thanking people for showering love on her throughout her career. Today marked the completion of his 22-year acting career.

Jailer 2 promo shoot in EVP - Keerthy Suresh wedding in a SHIP- Mega Star v/s Pushpa 2

Though Mani Ratnam wife laughed off the story that her hubby will direct Rajinikanth and that the director was going to do a film  with Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai, it looks like that the laughable story is getting into a reality. On December 12, Thalaivar birthday,, two announcements – one on Jailer 2 and other on autobiography and biopic are expected. Can we expect a third on coming together of Thalapathy duo ?

Rajinikanth took place in a promo shoot for the Jailer 2 and will be released on birthday. Shoot took place at EVP studio where BiggBoss Tamil house is erected and filming going on. A 4K remastered Thalapathy is coming on December 12 in theatres.

Keerthy Suresh wedding is a three day affair starting from December 10 and ending December 12^th. It will take place in a ship anchored in International waters off Goa , Guests will be ferried to the ship which otherwise is a place for tourists who play the casino tables. The bride’s father a Naur will oversee a wedding conducted in Nair style and have guests in Nair style attire – white dhoti with jero and kurta of Kerala style called hibba, There will be a Brahmin style of Keerthy’s mother Menaka ( ex actress) and another one a Christian one of the groom .

Is Mega Star fans working against Pushpa 2 ? The reaction to increase in ticket rates granted by Telangana Government and also a case filed in High Court are seen as handiwork of Mega Family to stop Pushpa 2 rampage. Advance bookings are at a high and there is no stopping the film’s biggest opening. However the Hindi scenario is different.

With Pushpa 2 set to release on December 5, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, the film is expected to do very well. However, audiences will have to wait a bit longer for the 3D version, and some may be disappointed by the lack of early Hindi screenings. It could be due to the poor response to the film’s songs and slow advances.

Nevertheless, the film’s commercial appeal remains strong with early paid premieres scheduled for the night of December 4.

Jeyam Ravi Divorce case verdict on October 10 th- Cute actress spills truth - AK v/s SK on Diwali

We expect a thunderous Diwali ( October 31) this year – Ajith’s Vidaamuyurchi, Jeyam Ravi Brother and Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran and along with Kavin’s Bloody Beggar are in running. Distributor R K Suresh has put out a post that Ajith is joining Diwali. We known that AK has multiple roles or looks and Magizh is just an ace at such subjects. We can hope that Ravi and Kavin might opt out and could be a AK v/s SK. Yet another conflict is Lyca v/s Rajkamal International.Additionally we are told that Mythiri v/s Madras Talkies might happen for Pongal 2025 as Good Bad and Ugly of AK and Kamal- Mani Thug Life might clash. October 10 sees Thalaivar Vettaiyan.

On October 10th only will Jeyam Ravi and wife Aarti get legally divorced as the case is coming up in Saidapet Family Court. There is a photo of Aarti and Dhanush circulating around and we hear that it was a photo clicked at a party and nothing more. Our trackers say that the reason for Aarti to get suspicious of hubby was that an actress had told her that she was chased by Ravi after she was signed for a film with him. This actress was the one who leaked to a starry wife about being chased by the actor hubby. We all know that it ended up in a logical manner. This actress is also cause for a top all time hit hero and his wife being estranged. It seems that the biggest insult came when the Production Manager told Ravi that all payments that are made in cash should be made to wifey. A move to plug any cash going to wrong hands. Now a video of Aarti when she was pregnant has her saying that Ravi even collected her vomit in his hands and took her for morning walks despite having shoots. She gave him 100 marks as hubby. 15 years later and two kids, tastes and marks have changed.

Gowry Lekshmi the singer who made her debut as singer in Mohanlal’s Casonova received flak and admiration for her song Murivu ( wound). Many termed the lyrics bland. She then revealed an incident while travelling in a bus and being groped by an old man. She was 8 then. In a recent interview with Deshabhimani, she said that after she sung the Kathakali padam Ajitha Hare on stage and wearing a shorts, her religion and many other aspects that were never existed before cropped up. Ajitha Hare ~ A popular kathakali padam in Sree ragam from Kuchelavritham where Kuchela expresses his Bhakthi to Lord Krishna . Gowry had said that a senior music Director whom she considered as her Godfather had told her that if she compromised with him sexually, she would get offers from him. She walked out on him.

Salman Khan talks to Kamal about Atlee film - Pranav Mohanal in Telugu- Priyan- Akshay back

Now this time our trackers say that Atlee and Salman Khan Hindi project is 100% true. Not only that Salmaan is producing the film and so has personally talked to Kamal Haasan for a parallel role. As Kalki 2 is delayed. Kamal is likely to join Khan. In October , a promo and main shoot in January next year. Salman Is taking steps to work out a joint narration of the script with him and Kamal by Atlee. The film will be unparallel cinematic feat says trackers as the one line excited Khan who heard it three months back and gave go ahead for scripting. Now Salman has asked Atlee about his first choice of the parallel hero and hearing that it is Kamal, he lifted the phone and set in motion the move to bring in UlagaNayakan into the fold. Yet another Anirudh musical.

Pranav Mohanlal is set to make his Telugu entry next year. This film will be a sort of a Pan Indian subject that is readied by Koratala Siva and bankrolled by Mythiri Movie Makers. Siva had worked with Mohanlal in Janatha Garage of NTR Jr. Currently he is busy with NTR’s Devara. Mythiri Movie Makers Producers of many hit films is now busy with Pushpa 2. Sometime back, Mammootty’s son Dulquer had said that he is very comfortable with Tollywood and that he is getting very good subjects and banners to work with. In fact Sita Ramam took him across many regional barriers.

While we are on Mohanlal, it reminds us to tell you that Lalettan pal Priyadarshan is coming back to Bollywood with his one time hit hero Akshay Kumar. Remember Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulayaa . Now on September 9rg, this combo motion poster will be released as Khiladi turns 57. Ektaa Kapoor is the Producer. We hear from Priyan team that there is three heroines and a mix of horror- comedy. Priyan just finished work on a film about Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He was present at Kerala Cricket League launch. Pal Mohanlal is the Brand Ambassador and another pal Producer Suresh’s daughter Keerthy Suresh is owner of adani@trivandrumroyalsofficial team. Adani have a stake in Vizhinigam port and International Airport. rivandrum Royals, Kochi Blue Tigers, Thrissur Titans, Calicut Globstars, Kollam Sailors and Alleppey Ripples are the teams. Game started today at Trivandrum Greenfield and catch it on Star Sports 1 and Fancode. Finals on September 17th.

Sivakarthikeyan gets BANNED - Dhanush Rayaan is a FLOP - Keerthy Suresh in Hindi web- series

It is a season of Red Card in Tamil Filmdom. It seems that Sivakarthikeyan is given a red card and that too for his activity as Producer. Producer Sivakarthikeyan announced the release date of Soori and Anna Ben's 'Kottukkaali'. The film won appreciation at several international film festivals. Sivakarthikeyan announced that Soori and Anna Ben's 'Kottukkaali' will hit theatres on August 23. Now it seems that the actor’s previous film as Producer which was Ayalaan has to pay back many distributors for the losses. The Federation has issued a red card for Kottukali release. However Rajkamal film’s Amaran with SK is ready for release. Kamal took the initiative to see that the widow of Major Mukund ( film is his biopic) got a sizable amount as a contribution from the film company.

Dhanush ban according to film trade sources is not right. Dhanush had taken advance to direct and act in a film with Rajinikanth in a major role. Based on this, Producers Council Murali had struck a deal with Malaysian based Abdul Malik. Along with it, Murali had taken money for Malay- Singapore rights of some other films. The Dhanush film took off and Nagarjuna was brought in for Rajinikanth role. It is said that Dhanush who had agreed to produce the film on first copy had spend from his pocket an amount of Rs 15 crores. After that he stopped the production as Murali did not send any money. We had reported the police case see ; https://southfilmy.blogspot.com/search?q=Murali+ramasamy. On the downside, Dhanush 50th film Rayaan .and his third directorial is a flop. On 6th day, the film gross stands at Rs 57 crores. It started with Rs 13 crore on opening day and touched Rs 15 crore on Sunday . On Monday, it sank to Rs 5 crore and today it is Rs 1 crore. Reviews had said that film had lot of bloodshed and was not a family viewing affair. It is said that Dhanush payment alone stood at Rs 50 crore.

As Keerthy Suresh Tamil film Raghuthaatha is to release, we hear that she and Radhika Apte ( Kabali) are coming together for a Hindi web-series Akka directed by Dharamraj Shetty , a newcomer. Keerthy is paired opposite Vishak Nair. Vishak had made his Hindi debut in Kangana Ranaut film Thejas and is now playing Sanjay Gandhi’s character in Emergency directed by Kangana. Vishak has acted in Mammooty’s One and Kathal as well as Iratta and Avesham. From Mollywood, Poornima Indrajith and Karthika ( daughter of cinematographer C K Muralidharan of Bollywood) are in the cast. Web series is produced by YashRaj Films.

Trisha's love song on Vijay's B'Day decoded

Trisha love song along with a selfie in the lift to congratulate Thalapathy Vijay on his 50 th Birthday has gone viral. As a result, we are asked to simplify the lyrics of the song sung by Billie Eilish's 'Birds of a Feather' . Now Thalapathy fans want to know the depth of the love song from Anni. Now we told them that Birds of a Feather means persons who share same interests. Billie wants this friend to stick together. In the first verse she wants to be with the person till her death In the second verse, she says that her bring in love brings tears to her eyes. Now comes the MATTER - Billie later begs her lover not to end things singing: But you're so full of shit, uh . Tell me it's a bit, oh / Say you don't see it, your mind's polluted / Say you wanna quit, don't be stupid. So Is Vijay moving away from Trisha ? So was this a plea to her lover to stay with her ? The singer says - And I don't know what I'm cryin' for / I don't think I could love you more / It might not be long, but baby, I / I'll love you 'til the day that I die / 'Til the day that I die. However I find the lines in X more of a story devolping in the background. Read it The calm to a storm,The storm to a calm! To many more milestones ahead

Why SUN gave up GOAT to Zee ? Kavin B'Day and Keerthy's Samantha avatar

Our Mumbai guys tell us that Keerthy Suresh’s Hindi debut film Baby John will release on August 2md. For Bollywood, this is a Varun Dhawan film and remake of Tamil film Theri with Thalapathy Vijay in the lead. Producer is Jawan fame Atlee. Now for us down South ,the film is a must watch as Keerthy plays Samanatha’s role in the Hindi. We are told that Keerthy has gone the Samanatha way and we have to wait to know what it means.

Kavin of Dada and Star fame is celeberating his birthday today along with Vijay. Except for posters on X, there is no fan messages. Anyway guys note this Kavin age is 3# and was born in June 22 1990. After Star, he has vecome a safe Star and there is Vetri Maran production and a film Bloody Beggars with choreographer Sridhar as director and Anirudh music.

To us it was a bit of shocker that GOAT was bought by Zee for satellite release in all languages. We were aware that Sun TV had paid a advance to AGS for the TV rights. How did it land up in Zee camp ?. Our trackers tell us that two reasons played out in Sun giving up the TV telecast rights. Primarily the amount quoted by Zee was Rs 75 crores. AGS wanted Rs 90-100 crores. Sun was not willing to go more than Rs 60 crores. Secondly, DMK First family had felt that if Sun bought the rights, it would not look good. Detractors would say that the DMK is making money out of Vijay and that they have a secret pact Sooner or later, Vijay’s TVK and DMK will have to cross swords and the Sun TV deal could be an propaganda weapon for Opposition. The new poster of old and new Vijay and a song released on occasion of Thalapathy Vijay B’Day has excited the fans. Seeman of NTK has praised Vijay skyhigh. In light of the Kallakuruchi liquor deaths, all birthday celebrations have been put on hold. Thupaaki re- release on Day one has collected Rs 32 lakhs and Pokkiri has netted Rs 28 lakhs.

Ranveer next with Shankar - Bujji voice is Keerthy Suresh - Sun TV no to Lal Salaam

There is a Mollywood connect that was revealed when Prabhas unveiled Bujji the wonder vehicle. The voice of Bujji is none other than Keerthy Suresh. Though a Malayali, she is actually a nall South actress and her chatter with Prabhas is become a hit after the video was released.

Sun TV is in a state of shock after the TRP of Captain Miller premiere was only 5.5 . The Dhanush film was just average at box office. The fate of Rajinikanth Lal Salaam, Akhil Akkineni- Mammootty – Venkat Prabhu film Agent and Hindi film Ganapath of Tiger Shroff. Netflix has backed out of Lal Salaam and Agent is caught in a producer- distributor dispute. With Miller TRP, Sun TV is not likely to offer any big bucks for a satellite release.

Our trackers tell us that the next project fir Director Shankar is with Ranveer Singh and that is the reason why the Prasanth Varma ( Hanuman ) has been pushed for a later date. Mythiri Movie Makers who had bankrolled the Ranveer and Prashanth project are also behind the Shankar project. We are not sure whether the film subject is the one that Shankar was supposed to do . It was on a book written by Madurai MP and titled Vel Pari. Varma had done a promo shoot and done extensive pre- production activities. Mythiri has a co – production with Kalyan Ram for NTR Jr and Neel direction and apart from this it is behind Prabhas – Hanu directorial. With Salaar 2 postponed, Mythiri the makers of Pushpa are sitting pretty.

Trisha again in Vijay film and Keerthy Suresh in Allu Arjun film

Thalapathy Vijay teaming up with Trisha in Leo and subsequent gossip that spread after the pair was spotted holidaying abroad has not deterred the combo from uniting again. A report says that Vijay and Trisha are coming together for an extended combo portion. It seems that the couple shot for a few days and are now having a song together for GOAT. The rumor mills went to the extent that Trisha was the reason for a discord between Vijay and his wife Sangetha. Both of them had kept off from public appearances. The song that Vijay and Trisha are doing are on the lines of Podu song from Ghilli. Already Prabhu Deva is shaking a leg with Vijay in the film.

Just as speculation was on about Ajith and his post operation recuperation period, the announcement that his next film is titled Good Bad and Ugly and directed by Adik Ravichandran with DSP music is a source of cheer for fans. The film will start on June and released in Pomgal 2025. Abhinandan Ramanujam was cinematographer for Adhik in his two films including Mark Antony. After GST brought in nation wide Entertainment tax, the practice of keeping Tamil titles to get tax exemption from State had emded. Now big films have titles like Leo , Good Bad and Ugly is in line with GOAT. Rajini’s Jailer to many films now sport English titles. Jarunanidhi offered 5 % tax exemption for films with Tamil titles and Jayalalitha added a clause that the film should be U certified and a comitee should feel that contents were in line with Tamil culture. While the teaming of Vijay and Trisha again in GOAT is bound to be a topic for gossip mills. Thalapathy fan and sishya Atlee has cast Keerthy Suresh opposite Allu Arjun in his next. Some time back it was Keerthy and Vijay who were in focus for their intimate rapport amd that both shared the same manager. Keerthy has entered Bollywood with Varun Dhawan and it is a remake of Vijay’s Their. Atlee is producer. AS we report the official news is expected by April 8th m Arjun’s B Day. Some say that Producer Sun Pictures will also

Jigarthanda Double x a flop - Kamal poll plan- Dulquer with Balayya - Anpama joins Jeyam Ravi

According to trade circles, Jigarthanda Double x is a flop and will not recover the cost from India collections. The overseas distributor Ahimsa had made a profit. After Diwali , the film saw 57 % drop and after 7 days the collection was Rs 30 crores. One reason is that rains lashed major centers in Tamil Nadu. The word of mouth publicity was exactly opposite of the media that praised the film.  Even Rajinikanth public praise has not helped. The budget of the film at Rs 100 cr was unrealistic and with Lawrence and S J Suryah in the lead it was a big gamble. Karthik Subburaj as director was missing from theatres and his two films Jagame Thanthiram and Maahan released on OTT were disasters. The second week has World Cup semi and Finals. Five Star Kathiresan and Ivenio Origin a Dubai based company had funded Karthik’s Stone Bench films. Red Giant were the distributors. Ajith's Viswasam and Dhanusg 3 has been re-released as the Diwali films have crashed.

Kamal Haasan will join Thug Life only after The May 2024 Lok Sabha elections according to sources close to the production House Madrs Talkies. In coming four months, he will complete H Vinoth film and release before the official Election Commission announcement. As he is going contest in alliance with DMK, any film featuring him cannot be released after poll date is made by EC. Unconfirmed reports say that the film deals with exploitation of farmers.

Two Malayali heroines Keerthy Suresh and Anupama Parameswaran playing leading ladies in Jeyam Ravi’s Siren directed by Antony Bhagyaraj. He co-wrote Rajini’s Annatthe, Ajith’s Viswasam and Sivakarthikeyan Hero. Keerthy plays a cop and Anupama who came on board plays what ?. Anupama is a established heroine in Tollywood.

Dulquer is soon to join Balakrishna for the Bobby directorial. The Kerala Superstar is currently working in a Telugu film Lucky Bhaskar. Dulquer is not doing a cameo but a full-fledged role, Balayya with three blockbuster hits in a row is the box office favourite. Dulquer is part of Kamal – Mani film. Due to his other languages commitments, Salmaan had to drop out of Tinu Pappachan film. Now Nivin Pauly is brought in.

Kamal and Tovino at San Deigo - Keerthy Suresh in Theri remake - Telugu Leo sold

Keerthy Suresh is set to portray the role previously played by Samantha in the Tamil film "Theri." The director of "Kee," Kalees, is now remaking the movie in Hindi, with Atlee making some modifications and serving as a co-producer. The film faced criticism upon its initial release for similarities to the old classic "Chathriyan," produced by Mani Ratnam. Additionally, Atlee's debut film, "Raja Rani," was also accused of being inspired by Mani Ratnam's "Mouna Ragam." In "Theri," Amy Jackson takes on another significant role as the teacher of the protagonist's child. Samantha's character in the original film was the wife who tragically meets her end at the hands of the villainous gang. After her success in "Maamannan," Keerthy's fee has been raised from Rs 2 crore to Rs 3 crore. In the Telugu film industry, she has two projects in the pipeline, "Bhola Sankar" featuring Chiranjeevi, and a Tamil film called "Siren" that is yet to be released. Currently, she has three films in production. In the Hindi version, Keerthy will be paired with Varun Dhawan, who will be essaying Thalapathy Vijay's role from the original "Theri

Deepika Padukone, a member of the American Actor Union currently on strike, was unable to attend the San Diego Comic Con event for the film Project K. On the other hand, Kamal Haasan received a warm welcome from his numerous fans and their families at the event venue. The makers of Project K will reveal Kamal's look in the movie after releasing the first look. Unfortunately, the first look of Prabhas in the film has received significant criticism from trolls. During the event, Rana announced his own project in India, which is based on a subject from Amar Chitra Katha. Thalapathy v/s Dhanush for Puja fest - Vetrimaaran take on KGF - Keerthi Suresh films wrapped up

Thalapathy Vijay's film "Leo" and Dhanush's film "Captain Miller" are both scheduled to release in October. According to sources, the makers of "Leo" have announced October 19th as the release date. Similarly, Sathyajothi Thyagarajan, the producer of "Captain Miller," is also aiming for that date. The reason behind this preference is that the following Monday and Tuesday are holidays due to the Pooja festival, resulting in a five-day holiday run for the film. During a Q&A session, Thyagarajan mentioned that the film's subject and the director, Arun Matheeswaran, convinced him to invest significantly and transform it into a Pan Indian film. Some scenes required British actors, so the shooting schedule had to be adjusted to accommodate their availability. Consequently, after Vijay's film "Varisu" clashed with Ajith's "Thunivu" on January 11th during the Tamil New Year festival, now it will be Vijay versus Dhanush for the Ayudha Puja festival.

In an interview, producer Gananvelraja announced that Vetrimaaran and Dhanush will collaborate on a project set against the backdrop of the Kolar Gold Mines. Gananvelraja also mentioned that Vetrimaaran is currently conducting research on the subject. This revelation indicates that Vetrimaaran is working on a version of KGF that will be based on real incidents recorded in history. It is exciting news that the successful duo of Vetrimaaran and Dhanush, who have previously worked together on four hit movies, will be joining forces once again. After completing "Vidhuthalai 2," Vetrimaaran is set to direct Suriya's "Vaadivasaal."
