Gulshan called the video a ‘cheap gimmick’ to get ‘15 seconds of fame’ on social media. The actor told Zoom, “It was a cheap gimmick. People these days will do anything to get 15 seconds of fame. Videos are going viral, and that’s precious to them. They should really stop doing that. I am nobody to tell people what to do, but this is very cheap. It lacks sincerity. If you do it with sincerity, I understand, and people will sense it and not misunderstand. Like the film.” He added, “Rishab (Shetty) has so much sincerity for this story that he has approached it with sincerity. He will never be misunderstood. He himself is a devout, religious person. I have seen it, and people can sense it also. When people do it devoid of any sincerity, it is a cheap gimmick of going viral. I request that people stop doing it.” Kantara Chapter 1 is directed and written by Rishab Shetty, who also portrays the role of Berme, the protagonist. Rukmini Vasanth is Princess Kanakavathi, the sister of Kulashekhara, played by Gulshan. Jayaram is their father, King Vijayendra. Kantara Chapter 1 is running in theatres in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and Hindi. The prequel to the 2022 film Kantara released on October 2.

Parvathy Thiruvothu joins Hrithik Roshan web series produced jointlu with Prime Videos. Raed on; War 2 actor Hrithik Roshan is the latest Bollywood star to make his digital debut. The actor, however, will only be producing his maiden digital venture under his HRX Films banner. The macho hunk has joined forces with the streaming giant Prime Video to produce an exciting web series. Apparently, Hrithik’s maiden show is titled Storm, and it is touted as a thriller set in Mumbai. The show will feature Hrithik’s girlfriend Saba Azad alongside Alaya F, Malayalam actress Parvathy Thiruvothu, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, and others in prominent roles. Storm will be directed by Ajitpal Singh and co-produced by Eshaan Roshan in association with Gaurav Gandhi of APAC & MENA. The filming will kick off soon in Mumbai. On the other hand, Hrithik will soon star in and direct the fourth installment of the popular superhero franchise, Krrish. Incidentally, the film marks Hrithik’s directorial debut. Parvathy, who has earned immense critical acclaim for films like Take Off, Uyare, Charlie, and Bangalore Days, as well as her Bollywood debut Qarib Qarib Singlle, is known for bringing nuance and emoti>onal depth to every role she takes on. In Storm, she steps into a complex narrative that promises to explore themes of morality, power, and survival in a modern Indian setting.

Rajini Jose singer has denied being in a relationship with Vijay Yesudas or having a lesbian relationship with actress- anchor Ranjini Haridas. She made her Tamil debut with the movie Chanakya, her Hindi debut in the movie Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and her Telugu debut with the song Chiru Chilake, by Sharreth, from the movie Naa Bangaaru Talli. SHOCKER - WAR 2 WEAK OPENING in HINDI / MAHAVATAR BREAKS HINDI RECORDS

In India, the advance bookings of War 2 opened on Saturday evening, and the initial trend in India is also not impressive for now. The film sells around 25K tickets in national chains, which is nowhere near the trend of films like Jawan, Pathaan, Pushpa 2, Tiger 3, and Animal.

Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s War 2 Hindi advance sales still continue to struggle, and they are even lower than this year’s releases, Sikandar, Saiyaara, and Chhaava. 

The Hindi version has initial expectations of 50 Cr – 55 Cr opening net, but at the current trend, the opening is likely to be in the range of 30 Cr, and if the momentum picks up highly in these 3 days and if the movie receives unanimous positive WOM, then it may take a 40 Cr+ opening.

The Telugu pre-release event for War 2 took place last night, where NTR, Hrithik Roshan, and other unit members spoke highly of the film, much to the excitement of fans. However, War 2 Hindi advance sales still continue to struggle.

War 2 Overseas advance bookings opened a few days back, with both Telugu and Hindi versions having slower advance bookings. Understandably, the Telugu version will be slow, as the Spy series does not have any following in the Telugu market.

Also, at the same time, the clash with Coolie also impacts War’s sequel in a big way. But the Hindi version’s low advance bookings are a shocker to everyone.

 Coolie has nothing to lose by clashing with WAR 2 on August 15^th. For one, Coolie budget does not make it very necessary for it cash in on North Indian markets like WAR 2. The overseas Tamil market and to agreat extent Telugu markets will still plump for Coolie as everybody wants to see what magic has Lokesh created for Thalaivar as he did for Kamal and Vijay. Thirdly the film WAR 2 will not create any much hoopla that a Hindi film has in South and NTR Jr is no Bunny – Prabhas who has a Pan South preence. So WAR2 with Hrithik Roshan who is not around for a long time, is the loser as NTR Jr tag will help only in two Telugu States. Here gain Coolie has Nagarjuna to take care of the Tollywood and Upendra for Sandalwood. Both have  extended cameos.

Actor Parthiban had a conversation with Mani Ratnam and made a request for the re-release of "Ponniyin Selvan" part 1, so that audiences can refresh their memories before the release of "Ponniyin Selvan 2" on April 28. Parthiban took to Twitter and wrote in Tamil that he suggested to Mani Ratnam that it would be easier for movie audiences to watch both parts together in theatres. He shared a photo of their WhatsApp conversation in which Mani Ratnam agreed to the idea and stated that he is planning to re-release part 1 of "Ponniyin Selvan" in a few theatres on April 21. The film is available on Amazon Prime.

The official Twitter handle responded positively, hinting at a collaboration for Yash's upcoming release, "Yash 19."  Hrithik Roshan (HR) and Saif Ali Khan play the roles reprised by Vijay Sethupathi and Madhvan respectively  in the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha From April, shoot of the Hindi remake  goes on the floor. Directed by Pushkar- Gayatri who directed n the Tamil version, HR is said to have worked two months to prepare for the role of the wily gangster.  The film is produced by Neeraj Pandey. Yet another Tamil film that is remade in Hindi is Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru which is Sajid Nandiadwala Sanki . Varun plays the role played by Rahman ( disabled cop) in the Tamil.

Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein ( Minnale in Tamil) will have a sequel in Hindi. Producer Vasu Bhagnani is remaking this and announced that Kriti Sanon  will play the heroine and `Mom' director Ravi Udayawar will be directing , Vicky Kaushal is tipped to be playing the hero.After remaking Arjun Reddy ( original) in Hindi as  Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is acting in remake of  Telugu film Jersey which had Nani - Harish Kalyan in the lead. The film won two National awards. It is produced and directed by the same Producer - director of Telugu film.
