Rahman double standards - Latha Rajinikanth court woes - Bigg Boss Poornima debut film

Poornima Ravi of Bigg Boss 7 Tamil who is still inside the House will have her first Tamil film as heroine released in Aha OTT. First look was released and film directed by M S Raaja is titled Sevappi. Poornima acted in a few short films and music video and in two feature films in supporting roles. Latha Rajinikanth held a media meet as she saw leading channels in Tamil report that she sneaked into court in Bangalore and took bail for a forgery case. This case was another remains of a dispute between Kocahadiyaan Producer Media One Global and AD bureau that loaned Rs 10 crores. Latha stoog surety for Rs 10 crores and after several years of litigation, money has been paid but still there remains a dispute. Now the case that she appeared was a letter that she gave to Karnataka Court saying that one Press Club was behind all vicious news about her and the case and got a gag order from the Court. Later it was proved that no such organization existed. AD Bureau filed a case of forgery and cheating. Though Latha has been let off the surety case, this case is still open and Supreme Court has asked trial court in Bangalore to go ahead with this forgery case. As she wanted a discharge from this, the court said that she was facing a no bailable offense and so at first she has to get a bail and then fight the case and seek discharge. Latha says that she got forensic report to prove it was not she who signed the circular of the fake organization. She says that the idea is embarrass her and take some money for dropping charges gainst her. She says that she backed her daughter Soundarya’s dream and claimed that the film still holds a World ecord in Animation history. If her hubby felt that there was truth in the charges, he would have paid up.

Dhanush Captain Miller most affected in Pongal release

Three Tamil films releasing for Pongal 2024 will hardly get ant theatres in two Telugu speaking States as five Telugu films starting with Mahesh Babu to Ravi Teja are releasing for sure. Out of the three Tamil films, the biggest loser will be Captain Miller of Dhanush, if it does not get a proper release in neighboring States. Dhanush Tamil – Telugu film Vaathi/ Sir released in both States did extremely well in Ap/ TS and first week grossed Rs 67 crore and in fact it was in second week that Tamil version broke even. Seeing this Shekar Kamula has booked him for a bilingual. Captain Miller loaded with action would be perfect film for AP/ Ts audience. By releasing for Pongal, it could get submerged in the big Telugu Star films. Ayalaan of Sivakarthikeyan too has some audience in AP/ TS. Though his bilingual with Jathi Ratanalu director Anudeep was a dud in Both languages, Siva dubbed for Telugu version titled Prince. He is ken to expand his market. The third Lal Salaam has Rajini in a cameo and after Jailor being the biggest box office hit of 2023 for a non Telugu hero in Tollywood, if released alone, it could have a decent opening. Vishnu Vishal one of the leads too has a ok draw in AP/ TS. Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, and Teja Sajja’s Hanuman are the prominent films in the race, while Raviteja’s Eagle ‌ and Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga are also likely to join the race.
