Bad Girls flop and in Hindi / Amrutha Suresh dubs for Aryan Khan N series

 Varsha Bharath made her directorial debut with Bad Girl, starring Anjali Sivaram. The film's original Tamil version premiered on the big screen on September 5, 2025, and received mixed reviews. When the film's teaser was released, director Mohan G accused producers Anurag Kashyap and Vetrimaaran of portraying Brahmins in a bad light. Ahead of Bad Girl's Hindi release (September 26), Varsha broke her silence on the controversy.

Varsha's Bad Girl teaser was also removed from YouTube after the Madras High Court's orders. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the director recalled feeling 'confused' by things happening around Bad Girl.

While the film premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and won the NETPAC award, Varsha was told unpleasant things about Bad Girl. "While everyone back home was telling me I had made a trashy film…or a porno, I had the international audience at the festival and filmmakers appreciating it. It was a very disorienting experience for me. I wondered if I could’ve done something differently, but in hindsight, my objective was just to cut a cool teaser, so there’s no regret there," she shared.

Nagarjuna in Ayothi remake / Know abour Lal's L365 Director / Bad Girls get U/A

 Nagarjuna's 100th film will be a remake of the Tamil emotional drama Ayothi, which featured Sasikumar and Preethi Asrani in the lead roles. The film which was set against religion and politics, went on to win critical acclaim at the box office, winning praise for portraying the story based on human emotions. News is that Nagarjuna was reportedly moved by the film’s story and is keen on bringing it to the Telugu audience. It is said that the discussions are currently underway with the original producers, Trident Arts, for the remake rights. An official announcement is awaited shortly.

As per reports, Nagarjuna's 100th film will be directed by Ra Karthik of Nitham Oru Vaanam fame. The film is likely to be an engaging drama, which will see Nagarjuna in a raw avatar with an emotionally strong story. This will be Nagarjuna's second collaboration this year with a Tamil film maker, right after Lokesh Kanagaraj who has directed Coolie.

The film credited L Ramakrishnan as writer but aanother writer Madhvaraj claimed that he had written the same story in his website after reading about the real life incident. Director arrived at a compromise by incorporating Madhavaraj name in the OTT version streaming on Zee5.

Two films Bad Girls and Manushi coming from Vetrimaaran Productions were denied censor certificate and no reasons or rather cuts were asked to be done, Finally Bad Girls got a U/A certificate and is releasing on September 5. High Court asked Censors to spell out the cuts and not just say it cannot be released in public and finally the cuts list was given, Touted to be a coming of age film, Bad Girl revolves around a girl as she goes through the setbacks of school-going teenager, whose choices are limited by the those around her.

The visuals from the teaser stirred a debate because the protagonist is reportedly from a Brahmin home, and the character’s identity is portrayed in an 'unacceptable' way.

The film's technical aspects are led by women. It has cinematography by Preetha Jayaraman, Jagadeesh Ravi and Prince Anderson, and editing by Radha Sridhar. The music score is composed by Amit Trivedi, enhancing the film’s thematic depth.

Bad Girl is also set for screenings at several international festivals, such as Karawan Fest in Italy and New Horizons International Film Festival in Poland.

The cast features Anjali Sivaraman, Shanthi Priya, Hridhu Haroon, TeeJay Arunasalam, Sashank Bommireddipalli, and Saranya Ravichandran. Their performances have been a key aspect of the film’s success on the festival circuit.

Suriya- Vetrimaaran Vaadivaasal is ON / Rajini and Dhanush hears H Vinoth/ Dragon Again with AGS

 

• Vaadivaasal is not dropped, rumors are false. The animatronics had some delays and there were some budget issues, but shoot will begin from October-November. Will release next year. Suriya is in discussion with a film with director Jithu Madhavan who did Aavesham. It is produced by a Tamil company.

• Simbu’s immediate project is a dark gangster drama set in North Madras, directed by Vetrimaaran. There is a decent chance that this film is Vada Chennai 2, or is part of that world. The film shoot begins first week of July, and will get wrapped up around October. Releasing in December to February. Right after this Simbu will begin his project with Ashwath Marimuthu.

• Rajinikanth and Dhanush are in talks for seperate films with director H Vinoth. For the Dhanush project the producer is 7 Screen Studios. Hearing Vinoth is in a better head space now.

• Pradeep Ranganathan has signed two films with AGS. One of them is his second collaboration with Ashwath Marimuthu, and the other is one of his own direction. The film is a commercial Sci-Fi Super Hero subject, which the bound script is done. It isn’t decided if Pradeep will act in this film- AGS wants him to but Pradeep is reluctant.

Manjumel Boys next with Thalapathy Producer / Shane- Shanthanu in Balti / Censors to re- view Vetrimaan film

 After Manjumel Boys, Director Chidambaram is set to direct a film for KVN Productions. The [roduction company is currently producing Thalapathy’s swan song Jana Nayagan. The script is by Jithu Madhavan whose Romancham was a big hit and his Avesham with Fahadh a blockbuster. In fact Avesham did very well in Tamil Nadu too. Jithu had scripted a film for Mohanlal but it was shelved and he is in talks with Suriya for a film to direct.

Shane Nigam after Madraskarran his Tamil Debut is acting in his next film Balti which isa Tamil- Malayalam film. He has Shanthanu Bhagyaraj for company. Balti is produced by Santosh T Kuruvilla and Binu Alexander George under the banner of STK Frames, marks the directorial debut of Unni Shivalingam. Balti is set to release during Onam. The film revolves around the lives of four young kabaddi players and has been shot across Coimbatore, Palakkad, and Pollachi. To depict realistic kabaddi portions, Shane and Tamil actor Shanthanu trained for a month with Kerala’s kabaddi coach Ramesh Velayudhan, along with guidance from national players and gymnastics coaches. Many real athletes will also appear in the film. The cast also includes names like Vishnu Prasad and Sanjay Lal Oad. Preethi Asrani is in the cast. A noteworthy addition to the project is its yet-to-be-revealed music composer, a familiar name reportedly making their Malayalam debut. With Shane’s track record of choosing musically rich projects, expectations are high for a soundtrack that matches the film’s pulse. Behind the camera, Alex J Pulickal handles cinematography, bringing his eye for kinetic action (RDX, Jana Gana Mana) to the court, while editor Shivkumar V Panicker — best known for shaping fast-paced Bollywood fare like Uri and Kill — takes the reins in the edit room.

The CBFC’s decision to reassess Manushi was conveyed during court proceedings on June 11, as reported by The Hindu. The rewatch aims to evaluate the film’s contentious elements, which had led to its earlier rejection.

At the heart of Manushi lies a politically charged narrative: the story of a woman falsely accused of terrorism, with the film exploring themes of state violence and custodial brutality. These depictions reportedly triggered concerns from the CBFC, who initially felt the film painted the state government in a negative light and could potentially mislead audiences on matters related to communist ideology.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has informed the Madras High Court that it will conduct a fresh screening of Manushi, the controversial Tamil film directed by Gopi Nainar and produced by acclaimed filmmaker Vetri Maaran. The film, starring Andrea Jeremiah with music composed by Ilaiyaraaja, had its certification previously denied, prompting a legal challenge from the makers. The next hearing on the matter is scheduled for June 17.

• This script has been in discussions with STR and Ratnam even before Thug Life, and they plan on launching it in mid-2026.
• The film is an out and out Love Story. Rahman has been roped in no surprise here.
• Ratnam is going to do a Tamil-Telugu bilingual love story film with Naveen Pollishetty, while Simbu wraps up his commitments.
• They plan on releasing this film in late 2027. It is not a big budget film.

Confirmed STR Projects

STR49 - Ramkumar Balakrishnan & Dawn:

• Shoot begins from June 16th, primarily happening inside a college.
• Simbu plays a college rowdy, and Santhanam has been roped in as the second lead. STR will be sporting shorter hair and a clean shave.
• The shoot stretches for 60 days and the film will get wrapped up with this.
• All songs are completed but vocals need to be recorded.
• They have locked in the Christmas 2025 date and are working towards it.

STR50 - Ashwath Marimuthu & AGS:

• Shoot begins from early September this year, and updates will flow in from August.
• The screenplay and dialogue work is in full flow and will be completed in Late July.
• The story is not a remake/adaptation, and Ashwath has made sure that it doesn’t have any similarities in terms of arcs and beats to his previous films.
• The heroine has been locked along with a few other cast members. Mrunal Thakur seems to be their choice, but this could also be false.
• The film will be released in June 2026; STR wants to release it on the 6th, as then all parts of the date align with the number 6- his Manmadhan number.

STR51 - Desingh Periyasamy & STR:

• The pilot promotional shoot for this film has been happening since the start of May, and it likely that it has almost been finished.
• They are looking to release this promotional video in early July to space it away from Thug Life release. It has also a lot of VFX and musical work towards it.
• This project has been pitched to AGS to co-produce with Simbu, and they have struck the following deal. If the STR51 team shows the completed pilot video to Netflix and they agree to buy the film, AGS will join in. If not they will discuss another plan.
• Shooting for this film is likely to begin in the first quarter of 2026. Simbu will grow his long hair again for this, so wig rumors aren’t true.
• Simbu plays the hero and villain in this periodic film. It will be different from other period films, it is purely character driven and features unique dance and action. He has been personally trained for these segments.
• The team is planning for a Pongal 2027 release, which they plan to announce in the promotional video in July.

Reason for Sudha Kongara to go after title Parasakthi owned by AVM was that the film is centered on the anti Brahmin part of the anti- Hindi- Sanskrit imposition on Tamil Nadu Take the case of AVM using title Parasakthi ; aarguments for AVM's choice: • Symbolic Power: "Parasakthi" is a name with strong connotations of divine feminine power and can be interpreted as representing the fight against injustice and oppression, which aligns with the film's themes of social reform. • Artistic Expression: AVM may have chosen the title to highlight the film's bold and critical stance on societal issues, even if it was likely to generate controversy. Arguments against AVM's choice: • Misrepresentation Concerns: Critics argued that the film used the title "Parasakthi" while portraying certain aspects of the Brahmin community in a negative light, which could be seen as disrespectful to the deity. • Social Backlash: The film faced significant protests and calls for a ban due to its portrayal of societal issues, leading to accusations of misusing the title "Parasakthi".

Sivakarthikeyan Parasakthi too has the anti- Brahminism thread. The agitation was marked by anti-Brahmin sentiments as the protesters believed Brahmins were attempting to impose Hindi and Sanskrit over Tamil. Despite the general anti-Brahminism of the agitation, a few Brahmins like Kanchi Rajagopalachari also participated in the movement. Could this be the reason for Suriya to back out ?. Meanwhile some have attacked Suriya for not accepting Sudha film, there is a news that Mammootty is going to produce the next Suriya film as a super hero and directed by Malayalam director Basil Joseph. We had reported that Basil is to direct a film in Hindi. he Sudha Kongara directional consists of 5 amazing songs, and the interesting thing is, that 2 of them are already shot. The first schedule of shooting happened in Chennai, the second schedule at Puducherry, third schedule at Chidambaram. The entire shoot is planned to be wrapped by July 2025. AVM has officially given sanction for the title but Vijay Antony says that he has the title registered with South Indian Film chamber. In that case the title has not been renewed by AVM. On expected lines, a war of words had broken after teaser release of Bad Girl Tamil film produced by Vetrimaaran company. director Pa Ranjith tweeted on his X timeline. He wrote, “Happened to watch #BadGirl, and it’s truly a bold and refreshing film! Director #VetriMaaran deserves immense credit for backing such a daring story. The film powerfully portrays women’s struggles and society’s expectations through a unique new wave cinema style. Congratulations #varsha.Anjali Sivaraman delivers an amazing performance—don’t miss this one!” Mohan G Kshatriyan responded - “Portraying a Brahmin girl(‘s) personal life is always a bold and refreshing film for this clan. What more can be expected from Vetrimaran, Anurag Kasyap & Co.. Bashing Brahmin father and mother is old and not trendy. Try with your own caste girls and showcase it to your own family first.” The final shot in the teaser shows the 2020 scenes of Thaali bajao during the Covid pandemic At the teaser launch Director Varsha said - I am not endorsing that women should smoke and drink through this film. I’m just telling the story of a girl that’s all this film is, it’s just a story and women can also be humans and not necessarily be of high character, that’s all.’ She added - I know I’ve not made a perfect film in some ways but for the Film Festival hopefully for the European audience, it will be acceptable. With the feedback I hope to make a theatrical copy that women here will watch and enjoy, Amit Trivedi national award winner ( Dev D) makes his Tamil debut with this film. Incidentally DEV D Director Anurag Kashyaap os cp presenting the film. its world premiere at the 54th edition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam, held from 30th January to 9th February 2025. The film will be competing at the festival for the prestigious Tiger Competition.

Shankar will get no Producer was the refrain after Game Changer crash but it seems Producer Jayantilal Gada and Shankar are in talks. Gada who heads PEN is distributor of many big budgeted films like RRR and Kanguva in North. He and Shankar had finalised remake of Tamil film Anniyan in Hindi but the original Producer Aascar Ravi put forth a copyright claim and it got stuck. Whether it is to producer Velpari or a new film. Ranveer Singh had been in talks with Shankar for the remake and after that turned good friends. Ranveer had visited Shankar for his daughter’s wedding. Sivakarthikeyan or STR for BB Tamil - Vijay Sethupathi is OTT hot favourite

It’s not official but will be. Simbu aka Silambarasan STR #Atman or Sivakarthikeyan will be new Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 host. Our BB trackers say that before Kamal Haasan issued the signed letter, he and Banijay, the Producers of BB show had a talk about the next replacement.. We all know that STR is signed for a film with Rajkamal banner. It will start sometime in March next year as STR is soon to sign a mega project. Details later. Sivakarthikeyan film Amaran with RajKamal is releasing next month. Kamal and Mahendran co- producer Turmeric Media had said that STR or Sivakarthikeyan are good choices. STR already hosted BB Ultimate and got good response. So Banijay is comfortable with STR.

However information that we got was that R Mahendran has asked Banijay to seriously consider Sivakarthikeyan for BB host. R Mahendran, ex VP Star Vijay and co – producer of Sivakarthikeyan film Amaran and Thug Life has put forth this idea. It seems that Mahendran and SK friendship dates back to the days when the latter was a participant in reality show Kalakaai Poovathu Yaar. Apart from this SK and Director Atlee are friends and former had worked in latter’s short films Mugaputhagam. Atlee and Mahendran are cousins. Turmeric Media of Mahendran is partner to RajKamal films ventures. For one day at BB sets for the 100 days of the show, Kamal was reportedly paid Rs 150 crores. So SK should get at least Rs 100 crores ? SK’s Amaran is releasing on September 27 and has Sai Pallavi in it. Also there is a report that Lokesh Kanagaraj will play a pivotal role in SK film with Sudha Kongara.

Viduthalai 2 is most expected film now. For one it is a Vetrimaaran directorial and secondly it has Vijay Sethupathi. Till the other day, it was because it has Soori whose Garudan is a hit. Now Maharaja has changed all this. Film is a Rs 100 crore film and for Sethupathy a first. After streaming on Netflix, for four weeks in a row, the film rated among the top ten non-English films globally. Maharaja movie has got 15.5 million views and 36.4 million watch hours to date. Our Kerala box office guy informs that Vaika has got Kerala theatrical rights. It has Manju Warrier in main role.

Vetrimaaran - Vijay film on Shoes of the Dead book - Mammooty Black and White film cuts hype

Many think that Maalaikottai Valiban overhype went against, Mammootty's Bramayugam Producers are playing downn costs.After the failure of Maalaikottai Valiban of Mohanlal, the next film of Mammootty and highly expected is Bramayugam , a Black and White film. The producers YNOT Shasikanth of Tamil Padam fame and Chakravarthy has so far said that being a B&W film is not a cheap affair, but costs close to Rs 36 crores in production. Publicity costs etc will take it to Rs 50 crores. So, in short, a B& W film that costs as much as a grand scale Malaikottai Valivaban. Now Valiban that costs Rs 50 crores after 11 days has collected Rs 11 crores. Bramayugam Producers have now changed the cost factor. They say that only 11 white dhotis were the cost of Mammootty costumes. Now the total cost is Rs 25 crores, they say. Lal fans say that scaling down of cost is to escape from flop as this experimental film looks very unappealing. To avoid another flop in Mollywood, all big and small films released on February 15th have been postponed giving Bramayugam a clear run. Meanwhile Mohanlal after Valiban flop is taking time to relax in Mexico with Producer Vijayakumar and Asianet Madhavan. Right from Joshi to Vineeth Srinivasan, there are 15 projects lined up for Mohanlal. After Valiban writer said that he is working on a sequel, Lal fans asked whether it has the actor’s nod. Will Suriya dump GananavelRaja ? or will he dump Vaadivaasal ?. Director Pa Ranjith the vociferous speaker on many issues has kept his silence as his film Thangalaan with Vikram is bankrolled by Raja’d Studio Green.

Suriya and his father Sivakumar are now being targeted for the outburst by Producer Gananvel Raja gainst Director Ameer. The growing support from the director’s fraternity for Ameer including Vetrimaaran who is to direct Surya in his next project Vaadivaasal has come as a rude jolt to Raja who issued an apology which he said was a reaction to what Ameer had said about the Paruthiveeran financial issues. This further agitated some who said that false insinuations against Ammer cannot be swept under the carpet in the garb of an apology and instead it should withdrawn from public domain and Raja should say that it was false. Anyway there is a move towards filing a contempt and defamation case against Raja.

Now the twist to the tale is that Raja who said that he did not speak out for 17 years was because the actor’s father Sivakumar had asked him to not do so. Raja said that it was not Ameer who gave Suriya the break but it was Suriya who gave Ameer the break. He further went on say that Karthi’s Paruthiveeran was a film for Ameer to learn direction by trail and error at Raja’s expense.

Now those associated with the film say that Raja was just a courier boy who carried cash from Suriya to the Production team and not once had he turned up at the location. Funds stopped coming from Suriya after the first copy limit was over, Ameer borrowed money from friends like Producer- Director – Actor Sasikumar. Finally, when it was ready for release, Raja took over and gave nothing to Ameer. Fact that Raja had no money of his own was evident as Karthi at the Japan function said that his brother’s saving was the fund for Paruthiveeran.

Now the charge is that Suriya has given his nod to Raja to take on Ameer after the latter described him not getting invited for Karthi 25 despite being the director who launched him as ungrateful. Raja went full throttle and even dragging Sudha Kongara in the matter by saying that she did not like Ameer’s Raam. Sudha was quick to rebut it by saying that Paruthiveeran was her model film.

There is great animosity that two relatives turned producers along with Suriya is indulging in dirty games. Even the recent scandal of an actor linked with music director’s wife is said to be the handiwork of the lobby that wants to demolish the actor’s family image and also that the actor dared to drag one of this lobby members to court over a financial issue.  Incidentally Sivakarthikeyan film Ayalaan is pitching for Pongal 2024 against many including Suriya’s Ganguvaa.

Vetrimaaran backs Ameer - Fight Club is Lokesh first production title

 Director Vetrimaaran through his company Grass Root Film Company made it clear on their X Page that Ameer is very much part of his Vaadivasal project. Karthi whose 25^th film was Japan invited all directors who worked with him for a function. Ameer who launched him was not invited. According to producer Ganavel Raja who produced debut film Paruthivaaran , Ameer filed cases against Karthi’s father Sivakumar and Karthi brother Suriya over a financial issue. Vetrimaaran tweet signals that he is backing Ameer and inside sources say that Suriya haf said that he has no objection to Ameer p acting in the film. Film is produced by Kalaipuli Thanu. The tweet says -Director #VetriMaaran met Director #Ameer to discuss his role in #Vaadivaasal. The prominence of his role in the script has increased

during the writing process and is tailor made for Director #Ameer. He is irreplaceable as an actor in the film.

Meanwhile Gananavel has issued a statement saying that if his interviews had hurt Ameer then he was apoligizing and it was only a knee jerk reaction to what Ameer said.

 

Director Sasikumar has said that in the garb of an apology, Raja cannot push the allegations made by Ameer as false and asked Raja to clear this aspect

Lokesh Kanagaraj first production title is Fight Club said a source. The film title announcement comes today evening November 29^th. Director is Vijay Kumar. Lokesh announcing his banner made it clear that he was going to do so with only  good friends. Vijay Kumar is famous for his film Uriyadi , a political thriller released in 2016 . Produced by Vijay Kumar himself and playing the lead, it got critical acclaim, he got a chance from Suriya 2D entertainment It was sequel. to Uriyadi  and it came three years later in 2019. After that he wrote dialogue for Suriya - Sudha film Soorarai Pottru, He acted in two films lead for Reel Good Films. Now for Lokesh, he acts and directs. Fight Club which is an emotional thriller.

Vetrimaaran fans upset - Madhavan as G D Naidu - Malayalam Cinema's costliest film starts

 Pradeep Ranganathan of Love Today fame has irked Director Vetrimaaran's fans. The filmmaker turned actor tweeted on Tuesday from his official Twitter handle, praising Vetri Maaran's recently released film "Viduthalai," calling it extraordinary and sending his best wishes to the director and his team. However, some followers of the national award-winning filmmaker were upset that the actor did not address Vetri Maaran's name with Sir in his tweet, with one user requesting that he do so and another user questioning the actor's longevity in the industry and emphasizing the need for respect towards a senior Vetri Maaran.

According to Vignesh Shivan , Pradeep Ranganathan has expressed interest in working with filmmaker on his upcoming film Love Insurance Company "LIC." He also confirmed that Nayanthara is part of the film. This collaboration has caused excitement among Tamil film fans as it was originally supposed to be Sivakarthikeyan's 17th film with Anirudh as the music director. RKFI, a well-known production house in Tamil cinema, owned by Kamal Haasan ,is expected to produce the film, bringing a new level of sophistication and polish to the project.

MediaOne Global has signed R Madhavan for two of their upcoming projects. One of these is a biopic on G D Naidu, the man known as the "Edison of India" and recognized as the "wealth creator of Coimbatore". Naidu's legacy is closely tied to the production of India's first electric motor. The other project, by R Mithran of Thiruchitramabalam fame, will be s shot entirely in London. RJ and actress-producer Punnagai Gheetha, based in Malaysia, will play the lead opposite Madhavan. Aravind Kamalnathan will be the executive producer and cinematographer for the film. This marks Madhavan's next venture as a man of science after playing a scientist in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The film, which promises to inspire youth, is a biopic on Gopalsamy Doraisamy Naidu, also known as the "Miracle Man". The G.D. Naidu Charities signed an agreement with MediaOne Global Entertainment Limited on Wednesday, and a conceptual poster was released on Thursday. Other details of cast and crew is yet to be finalised.

Rojin Thomas, the director of Home Fame, helms the movie, and it is written by debutant R Ramanathan. The production will employ ARRI Alexa 345 cameras, which are typically used in Hollywood productions. What sets Kathanar apart is that it will be India's first film to be shot entirely as a 3D virtual production, a technique typically reserved for larger Hollywood movies like Avatar, Ready Player One, and The Lion King. This shooting method necessitates a significant amount of preparation and investment in technology, which is further complicated by the fact that it will be a two-part series. The team conducted test shoots and built a massive virtually controlled set a year ago. The film series will be among the first to be shot entirely on South India's biggest modular shooting floor, which spans 40,000 square feet and is located on a 36-acre plot of land. Latest buzz is that Anushka Shetty has been approached to do the leading lady .

Thalapathy son to direct Uppena remake ? Dhanush- NTR Jr in Vetrimaaran's next

 

Is Thalapathy Vijay's son, Jasan Sanjay, going to direct the Tamil remake of the Telugu film Uppena, or will he make his debut as the hero in this remake? These are the questions that are currently circulating, as Mythiri Movie Makers, the film's producers, have informed another production house that the remake rights cannot be sold because Vijay Sethupathi and Vijay have requested that they not be sold. It is unlikely that Vijay will act in this Telugu remake, as it did not fetch a good price in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Jasan had previously declined an offer to act in a film by Alphonse Puthran, saying he was more interested in working behind the camera.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that Krithi Shetty and Vijay Sethupathy will be playing the lead roles in the remake, with Sethupathy potentially producing the film, pending Jasan's approval.

Uppena, which was directed by Buchi Babu and starred Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Kirthi Shetty, was a debut film for both the director and lead actor. Despite criticisms of its portrayal of masculinity, violence, and the treatment of casteism and honor killings, the film was a commercial success, earning Rs 80 crores on a budget of Rs 15 crores. Till then Ram Charan’s debut film Chirutha hold the record for a debutant highest opening. Uppena beat that record Vijay reportedly blocked the remake rights well before he began work on Beast, and Vijay Sethupathi had given a token advance, suggesting that Mythiri and Sethupathi will jointly produce the film.

Vetrimaaran next with Dhanush

According to Cameraman Velraj, who has collaborated with director Vetri Maaran in the past, it has been revealed that Dhanush and the director are set to work together for the fifth time. Velraj has previously worked with Dhanush on two films, namely "Vellaillla Patthdhari" and "Thangamagan". Reliable sources suggest that the project will commence after the release of "Vidhuthala 2", and it has also been reported that NTR Jr will be joining the cast. So has Vaadivaasal with Suriya postponed ? .'Viduthalai Part 1' is to be dubbed in Telugu, and the dubbed version is gearing up to release in theatres on April 14. It is released by Allu Aravind.
