BJP Madhavan and ex BJP Gautami winners, Kamal ignored by DMK State awards

In a race to beat the model code of Election Commission, DMK Government has gone and given the Best Actor award for 2015 to R Madhavan, a Sangh Parivar sympathizer and to Gauthami the ex BJP office bearer wo joined AIADMK. R Madhavan the Director of the film Rocketry that showed Congress and UPA in bad light won National awards, was also made President of FTII Society Pune. After the BJP came to power in Centre, this post has been going to those who are pro saffron and had created many controversies. Yet another award winner that will make the Ministers Swaminathan I&B minister along with Health Minister Ma Subramanian and HR &CE Sekar Babu squirm in their seats is that of Actress Gautami who was judged best character actress for her performance in Papanasam, Incidentally Kamal Haasan played her hubby in the film. Latest news on Mani and Kamal project is that Nayanthara is being considered for the film. We heard that Trisha is also being considered. The film pre production work started like the first look was shot and it will be released on Kamal’s birthday. Full fledged work will start from December. REAL budget of RRR Oscar spend - Ram Charan fans unhappy - Gautami look in Sam film -

Initially, the RRR team had allocated a budget of 5 crores INR for their Oscar campaign, which was planned to be spent in three phases. However, when the movie received nominations, they ended up exceeding the budget and spending a total of 8.5 crores INR on the campaign. It was revealed that some members of the team, including Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Rahul Sipliganj, Chandrabose, and MM Keeravani, received invites or nominations from the Oscar committee. Moreover, while some members had to purchase tickets, the team had officially bought a few tickets at $1500 each and four others at $750 each.

Despite the high cost of the campaign, Karthikeya Line Producer and Director Rajamouli highlighted that the success of the film was not solely due to their efforts but because people genuinely enjoyed it. Gautami look in Sam's film revealed

The first look of Gautami, who plays the character of Gautami Maatha, the foster mother of Samantha's Shakuntala, has been unveiled by the makers of the upcoming Telugu multistarrer film, Shaakuntalam. This film, directed by Gunasekhar and produced by Neelima Guna, features an impressive cast including Prakash Raj, Madhoo, Dev Mohan, Aditi Balan, veteran actors Mohan Babu, and Gautami.
