Suriya's Karuppu Music Director Sai to Face Film Music Lovers on July 23

 July 23^rd is Suriya’s B ’Day. Karuppu Teaser will be released. Apart from Suriya’s fans, the large section of the viewing community is waiting. They are waiting to hear the BGM score by Sai Abhayankkar. This will be the first film among the 17 films that he has signed, that will get a taste of public opinion or rather the film music lovers. He has signed 17 Tamil – Telugu-- Malayalam films and a Hindi film . No official confirmation yet. Hearing works outside of his indie singles reveals that he plays by the gallery.

Future of music ? Even if all the PR and talent agencies try to force that narrative down my throat, I will not buy it.

It is fairly obvious that he has the support of reputable talent agencies in order to guarantee that they create a monopoly.

There is no way in hell that someone could sign thirteen film deals without releasing a single one.

In order to create a monopoly in the mainstream music industry, CAA, Route, and ThinkMusic use him as a pawn for the next fifteen years.

He secured a 600 crore project despite not demonstrating to the audience that he is capable of scoring such magnum opus projects.

The purpose of Sai Abhyankkar is to prevent any underground, genuine indie, or underprivileged musicians from becoming major music directors in the mainstream.

They are already working around the clock to improve his image and force him to attend all award shows, paying major magazines to feature him, and getting ongoing advice from reputable Hong Kong agencies, so they will somehow succeed in this story of positioning him as the next big thing. His portfolio as an assistant to ARR, Anirudh, and GVP, Magesh, who leads think indie, almost constantly posts about Sai Abhyankkar on an hourly basis, ensuring and paying foreign regional FMs to play Sai Abhyankkar records.

Lobbying takes place for every major film to place him as the MD.

It's not just Route!

He has multiple agencies to help him out!

He receives fashion advice from a HK agency that works with artists such as Jackson Wang.

He also has some excellent programmers, whom he has not credited in any of his previous works.

You may wonder he isn't from that big of a family?

As long as they have a respectable background, all of these talent agencies and label deals look for the ideal nepo kid, regardless of whether they are ARR or HJ kids.

So why did not Ameen (AR Rahman son) and Nicholas (Harris Jayaraj son) grow to be as famous as Sai?

The simple answer is that they knew it would backfire, so they did not want to do that.

Until someone steps up and breaks his monopoly, Sai Abhyankkar will not realize that he is nothing more than a fake prodigy planted by avaricious individuals in the industry to maintain their monopoly.

Mark my words, I am not a prophet, but when there is a monopoly, there will be a strong force to break it. Someone will undoubtedly emerge from a non-musical background and challenge Sai Abhyankkar within the next 5 or 6 years.

Until then, Sai Abhyankkar can enjoy his monopoly. He or she, whoever, may give him and his executives a reality check.

 

Veetla Vishesham : Bad remake of Baadhaai Ho - full of cringe moments

 

The super hit Hindi film gets adapted to Tamil audience taste by R J Balaji. As per Balaji, the Tamil audience especially the theater going crowd is waiting to swallow a film loaded with parental advice and sentimental melodrama since they have been given overdose of action masala in recent times. So second half is full of what you would say is Boomer Uncle stuff. I think this is just right for OTT audience.

You have a huge line up of seasoned actors like Sathyaraj - Urvasi onwards . Treat to see the veterans have not lost their touch. RJ Balaji as an actor does stand up to the heavyweights. Now if you are looking for Aparna Balamurali of 8 Thottakal - Suriya's SP, then you will be disappointed. Anybody could have done this over the top character. The film on the whole lacks finesse of the Hindi.

Ajith shoot in Mount Road Chennai from March 9th - Arjun Kapoor in Comali remake

 

Ajith's next shoot will begin on March  9th in Mount Road Chennai set erected in Ramoji Rao film city Hyderabad. Valimai Hindi ( same name) will have 1000 screens in North India, biggest for a Ajith Kumar film. Producer is not bothered about how the distributor is going to get screens but  Valimai will release on scheduled date Feb 25 even if Gangubhai of Alia Bhatt is coming on the same date as Boney Kapoor says both are different genres.  Arjun Kapoor is going to act in  Jeyam Ravi's Tamil film `Comali' remake and F2 (  Varun Tej's Telugu). R J Balaji's Veetiliya Visheshangal ( remake of Badhai Ho ) and Udhyanidhi Stalin Nenjuku Neethi  (Article 15) will release in first half of summer.

A confident Boney in an interview said that with little promotion, he is sure  that he will do good biz with Valimai. He says that he is not expecting Rs 100 cr biz in North but only a decent output. Even before Pushpa, Boney sold Hindi theatrical rights. His daughter Jhanvi's next release is Mili , remake of Malayalam film Helen..

His son Arjun Kapoor will reprise Jeyam Ravi's role in Comali remake and Varun Tej's  F2 in Hindi. Anees Bazme will be directing F2 remake and there is talk that Bazmee will being doing No Entry sequel with Salman Khan. Boney said he is keeping his fingers crossed. Luv Ranjan will direct Comali remake.

Boney's upcoming Maaidan with Ajay Devgn will clash with Prithviraj in June. Maaidan is coming on June 3 and following week is Prithviraj ( AkshayKumar). Here too he rules out any change  in  dates.  Valimai OTT release dates yet to be set says Boney. Zee5 is the OTT rights holder. PEN who is distributor of Valimai was also for Ravi Teja's Khiladi Hindi. On first day, there wasno  morning shows and till date there is no box office figures.
