Soundarya Rajinikanth web-series dropped by Amazon / Mohanlal film producer buys Hollywood top agency

Amazon Prime’s web series, Gangs Kuruthi Punal came Soundarya Rajinikanth way as creative producer, an opportunity she must have wanted after the debacle Kochadiyaan . After shooting 100 episodes , the project has been put on the back burner. Launched with great fanfare .halfway through the shoot in Puducherry, things started going haywire, and it overshot the budget. Creative Producer and director Novah started developing difference of opinion and things turned sour with Noah being blamed for not having better control. With Ashok Selvan .Sathyaraj and Nasser in the cast, the web series could have got the eyeballs but the money flow to Production was stopped, Then came the announcement by Amazon Prime that it will be paused as the streaming platform is now in a course correction . It could mean that Soundarya continues with Noah or would be shown the door.

Ajith calls on stranded Aamir and Vishnu - Sai Pallavi- Nayanthara and Rashmika in news


 
Vishnu Vishal and Aamir Khan are staying in a gated community in Karapakkam , suburb of Chennai. Two days rains in Chennai flooded the area and Vishnu posted on X the situation. Minister TRP Raja send a NDRF team and rescued them. A common friend told Ajith and he turned up at the community center and met Vishnu and Aamir and made arrangements for smooth transportation. Aamir is camping in Chennai for his mother’s treatment.

On the heroine front, we got information that Nayanthara has agreed to act as heroine’s sister in a film directed by her hubby Vignesh with Pradeep Ranganathan as hero. Her solo heroine oriented film Annapoorani released last Friday is a washout primarily for the predictable content and heavy rains lashing Chennai. It collected a mere Rs 1.68 crores.

Meanwhile Sai Pallavi has very big projects. First is a film with Yash of KGF and directed by Geethu Mohandas. It is an offbeat film. Secondly the coming together of Premam team . She is once again with Nivin Pauly. She has a film with Naga Chaitanya too. In Tamil she is teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan.

Meanwhile we saw Ritika Singh post injuries on her hand and wrist. She seems to have smashed her hand on a glass sheet. She said that though the unit warned her of the glass, she lost her momentum and added that though it is not paining , she is is going to take an injection and will leave from set to hospital. She did not say which set this happened and many think it is at Thalaivar 170 sets.

Trisha who got slammed for calling Animal as a cult film and iconic had to with draw the post after netizens felt that it was in wrong taste to hail a film that is showing heroines as mere objects to satisfy the carnal desire of the hero. After this no South celebrity has come to comment on Animal. Only in two Telugu States, the film is doing well. All the same Rashmika Mandaana is basking in the success of Animal and she is now in sets of The Girl Friend directed by Rahul Ravindran of Chi Low Saw fame. She saw her Instagram followers grow to 40 million followers. She has Pushpa 2 and a Vicky Kaushal film .
