Faria Abdullah known to Telugu moviegoers has been cast as heroine in Jason Sanjay directorial debut.Fariq Abdullah is Sanjay Jason heroine. She played an artiste in a drama troupe in director Suseenthiran’s action thriller ‘Valli Mayil’, featuring actor Vijay Antony in the lead.Talking to the media, director Suseenthiran disclosed, “I was impressed by Faria’s dancing abilities and chose to cast her in the title role of this film. She plays a drama artiste in this film through which I am introducing her here in Tamil.”

Review from a guy who saw the film and plus - minus Decent movie. Second half is again monotonous . Story reminds us Khaidi and recent kannada movie max. All story happens in single night with thrill elements laced around. Mass and thrill elements work very well and whole set up is done nicely in first half. Vikram character design though done nice is little bit unconvincing in second half. Twists were executed well with all characters and SJ Surya in middle of action and make it even more fun to watch. According to my friend they disturbed the flow with unnecessary melodrama which derails the film slightly. Overall - A decent comeback from Vikram. Nice but could have been better had they reduced heavy melodrama.

Empuran advance booking figures raise manipulation doubts

Empuran advance booking ifigres are manipulated and done under the system of corporate bookings is the charge levelled by many in the trade.
