As Ashiq Abu the Director quit the trade union FEFKA, there is a talk that many more are to follow him. Abu’s wife Rima is part of WCC. It seems Director Vinayan whose MACTA was sidelined by FEFKA is said to be backing Abu. In his media interaction, Mohanlal said that anybody was free to form a union as AMMA was not a trade union. B Unikrishnan of FEFKA is said to be a stooge of the Superstars and part of the so called Power Group. The backing of Listin Stephen President of Distributors Association and a close aide of Actor Prithviraj is crucial. However Listin is currently Producer of a Dilip film and this could be a thorn to the WCC, that was formed after the alleged sexual attack on actress Bhavana. Listin is acceptable to all the Superstars and his stance could be crucial. Prithviraj had a few days ago recalled the days when he was unofficially blacklisted . Now he is a saleable actor and successful Director with a Mohanlal film under production. From AMMA, actor Jagadish is said to be spearheading a move to bring back the executive body that resigned .
