Roja of Sun TV continues to be No 1 - 14th week TRP Tamil TV - Star Vijay TV award to `Mullai' Chitra an emotional moment

Roja continues it's No 1 supremacy in the 14th week TRP rating. Star Vijay's award for TV sector to be telecast on April 18th at 3 PM left many in tears as parents of Late Chitra walked up to receive the best actress award for her role in Pandian Stores. 

Roja showed a marked increase of 300 impressions from 6310 last week. Second position is Bharathi Kannamma of Star Vijay. Third position is Star Vijay's mahasangamam of Bharathi Kannamma - Raja Rani. Fourth position is Sun's Vanatha Pol. Fifth is Sun's Maruthu.

Sun TV to mark 28 yr completion telecast Master of Vijay in Sunday slot. TV shoots are going at break  neck speed fearing restrictions due to lockdown. At present, the status quo continues in terms of people employed for TV shoots.

Meanwhile Sun has introduced new characters in Chitthi 2 and hopes to increase the TRP and move to 9.30 PM slot from 10 PM. Star Vijay's premiere movie Mandela telecast on Sunday recieved wide appreciation as the content was related to cash for votes.

The 6th Star Vijay TV awards had it's best moments. the most favorite actor Chithra (who died in the recent past) played the ‘Mullai’ character in Pandian Storeswas awarded a special category of award that was received by her parents that made the audience shed tears as everyone missed her and yet to come out of the shock of her demise.

Also, there are other great moments where female artistes were honored for their devoted commitment to their profession. Actors like Manasa, Hema were awarded for their sincere effort and come back after their motherhood. Special awards went to Neeya Naana Gopinath,Pandian Stores Moorthy (Stalin) and actor Ranjith for their social responsibilities in farming and so on.
