    Superstar Rajinikanth is currently busy with the shoot of Jailer 2 in Goa. Jailer was a mammoth blockbuster at the ticket windows collecting over Rs. 600 crores. At a time when Rajini was going through a slump, Nelson brought the star back into the numbers game.

    The latest buzz suggests that Santhanam is set to make re-entry as a comedian with Jailer 2. For a long time Santhanam has been doing lead roles, and it appears that he is coming back to entertain audiences in a comic avatar with the much-anticipated sequel. An official announcement is awaited.

    The makers are planning to bring the film to the theatres on June 12 2026. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is said to be playing a key role. Produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures, the big-ticket entertainer features music by Anirudh Ravichander.

    Tamannaah portions are missing in  Bahubali The Epic is the buzz.

    Baahubali: The Epic is releasing with premieres today in U.S. and tomorrow paid premieres in India. The response so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Shows are selling out as if Rajamouli’s brand-new film were hitting theaters. Needless to say, the entire team must be thrilled-except for one person, Tamannaah Bhatia who played a key role in the first part. According to reports and official team statements, Tamannaah’s portions have been removed from this version to keep the film tighter and more focused, including her songs. When Baahubali: The Beginning was first released, many viewers criticized Tamannaah’s character and songs, feeling they didn’t quite blend with the epic tone of the film. In fact, many felt she was miscast in Baahubali. Those sequences are now said to have been cut from Baahubali: The Epic. While the rest of the team celebrates the film’s grand re-release, it’s certainly disappointing news for Tamannaah. In the U.S., Baahubali: The Epic is on track to easily gross over a million dollars. This film is set to create a new benchmark for re-releases – it’s unlikely that any future re-release, regardless of the hero, will be able to collect even half of what Baahubali: The Epic is earning now, at least for several years to come.
    
    Professionally, Tamannaah is busier than ever. She will next be seen alongside Shahid Kapoor in Vishal Bhardwaj’s action thriller O’ Romeo, expected to release in late 2025 or early 2026. She also stars with Sidharth Malhotra in Vvan – Force of the Forest, a mythological folk thriller produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and TVF. The film marks her return to a strong, unconventional character space. Additionally, she is part of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, where she plays the wife of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria. Urvasi Rautela poohs Tamannaah's item song / Sivakarthikeyan Fan Boy moment with N Ram and Pinrayi

Down Kollywood  we rooted for Tamannaah for Kavalaa in Jailer and later our friends in Tollywood for Urvasi Rautela in Daaku Maharaj of Balaayya. Much before that Urvasi made her appearance in Tamil as out Annachi The Legend’s Sarvanan’s heroine but the directors JD Jerry disappointed us by not giving us any hot item songs. Now why are caught in the cross fire between Tamannaah and Urvasi , you would have understood.

Urvasi pts out a post on Instagram where she mentioned Tamannaah Bhatia’s latest item song, Nasha, and indirectly stated that her item song in the recently released Jaat was better than Tamannaah’s.

Urvashi Rautela appeared in a song named Sorry Bol in Jaat. But the film bombed at the box office. Despite this, she claimed her song was better than Tamannaah’s Nasha (featured in the upcoming Raid 2. tickets

She deleted the story after receiving backlash. Urvasi should make inroads into Kollywood as our guys down in Chennai are very loyal to Thalaivar and Tamanaah song was the highlight and some spoilsports even said that the repeat audience for the song was main reason for the film success. As Madharasi is nearing release, Sivakarthikeyan after working in Amaran produced by Kamal Haasan seems to be following his steps. He was an invitee to Kerala CM Pinrayi Vijayan function in Kannur (the Pinarayi Peruma event.) . Sivakarthikeyan said "It was an honour dining with CM Pinarayi sir. At first I thought it would just be me there, but I was surrounded by dignitaries. I was treated with good Kerala food." He further said "every state has its own cultural significance, and they should enjoy and celebrate their heritage. I am so happy to be a part of one such event."
