Ajith back in Chennai - Trisha in Balayya film - Vijay Sethupati son debuts -

 

As Mansoor apologized to Trisha in public, comes a news from Tollywood that Trisha is playing a lead role in Balakrishna film directed by Bobby. Vichitra inside the Bigg Boss Tamil alleged that Balakrishna asked her to come to his room and she did not go and so the stunt men of the film kept banging at her door all night. Apart from this a stunt man touched her inappropriately. She complained to Stunt Union and got slapped for it and Actors body Vijaykant asked to go to the police instead. Her husband had corroborated this in an interview. Manisha Chauduary is other heroine in Balayya film.

Latest news that Ajith and crew of Vidamuyurchi has returned from Azerbaijan to Chennai after finishing the schedule. They were supposed to move to Middle East but has now come to Chennai. The next schedule is in January. This gives hope that Ajith will be attending MK 100 on December 24^th.

Meanwhile Mythiri Movie makers the Tollywood production is to produce the next film of Ajith with Mark Antony Director Ravi Chandran. Vadivaasal 2 producers backed out of this project and Mythiti has stepped in. They earlier produced Vijay’s Varisu.

Vijay Sethupathi, launched his son Surya Sethupathi as a hero. Surya’s maiden film in a lead role, Phoenix, has been launched this morning with a formal puja ceremony at the iconic AVM Studios in Chennai.

Phoenix will be directed by senior stunt choreographer Anl Arasu, the man behind Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and Vijay’s Bigil to name a few. Phoenix marks Anl Arasu’s directorial debut, will have Khaidi composer Sam CS’ music, while Rajalakshmi Arashakumar is bankrolling the project on Brave Man Pictures banner.

Surya Sethupathi had played small cameos as a child actor in popular Vijay Sethupathi movies such as Naanum Rowdy Thaan, Sindhubaah and the upcoming action drama, Viduthalai 2. 

 

Mammootty says reviews don't affect films - Mansoor talks about Trisha drunken dance

 

Mansoor Ali Khan took the fight over his comments about Trisha a one step forward. Withot taking names, he said that an actress was dancing on the beach in a drunken state after shedding her clothes and got arrested by the police. It was rumored that Trisha was arrested by cops on ECR as she was dancing on the road in an inebriated state. There has been no official confirmation on this but this rumour still is doing the rounds. This rumour took shape years back. Further he said that media had put his photo along with Trisha as if it was a wedding invitation. He said that his rape talk was about filmy rape.

The press conference was to call for a caste census and based on that the jobs could be filled. He said many unemployed persons started YouTube channels as they were no jobs for them. After the census, they too will get jobs he added. He said Payilvan Ranganathan took to YouTube to talk about bedroom secrets because no body called him for acting or for press meet.

Nadigar Sangam has to withdraw the press release condemning him as they had not asked his side of the story> He threatened severe action on sangam. He said that Kalaiganar 100 would see girls dancing on stage. He said that he was pitted against 450 media persons. As press started bombarding him, he stood  and started singing Jana Gana Mana.

At a time when Producers Association is clamoring for a gag in film reviews, Mammooty said that let reviewers review films and let the film take it’s own course. He said that people make their own decision about films and are not influenced by reviews. This is very different from those who are crying for the blood of reviewers who they are feel are  deliberately criticize  films to get views in YouTube. Mammootty added that banning reviews will not save the Industry.

On the work front,Mammootty – Jyotika film Kathal has been banned in Kuwait- Oman as there is a portion that deals with homosexuality . It is against the principles of Islam. Film directed by Joe Baby of The Great Indian Kitchen is helming the film and produced by Mammootty Kampany. It was for a straight OTT release but now it is coming to theatres on November 23 and in IFFI Goa.

Cameraman Venu and Joju George in a brawl - Mansoor Ali Khan decoded

 

Mansoor Ali Khan who is facing flak for his remarks on Trisha had actually said a similar thing at Leo success meet. Only difference was that he did not elaborate what he intended to with Trisha on the sets. He merely said that he was happy that Trisha was in the film but he did not get see her and again when Madonna arrived he got happy but she was playing her sister. What he elaborated in the press meet was that as a baddie he would get do a rape scene. At the function both the ladies laughed it off whil Vijay and others did not seem amused. Mansoor says it was a joke that misfired. It could be true as he knows that the rape scenes that he is talking about had long back done away with. There was a time when audience waited for a rape scene.

Mansoor started his career as a group dancer and was a regular in Silk Smitha’s item songs. In fact he was her protector on sets. Later on I have seen him advising heroines coming from Mumbai. They all considered him as a brother. Not knowing about advancement media or about laws regarding speech about woman in Public, Mansoor is in a hot spot Nadigar Sangham asked him to apologize and instead he pens a not on his pro woman moves and adds that he has t a daughter who is a Trisha fan.

When we were travelling with a candidate also from film industry, we saw a van with Vijayakanth poster and Manssor holding the mike. His appeal went like this – If yoy vote for me, I will be your house dog and if don’t then go and vote for any dog.

Hottest news doing the round in Mollywood is that National award winning Director Venu had an altercation with actor Joju George at sets of Pani and it came to physical blows. Following this Venu walked out and filed a police complaint with Trichur Police that some goons have threatened him. Pani is George’s first directorial and is also a co-producer. The reason for the fight according to reports was that Venu misbehaved with crew members George claims that Venu left on his own will and the rest is imagination. Venu has not responded. For Tamil audience Joju is known for Jagme Thanthiram with Dhanush and released on Netflix. The film Pani is about two underworld heads in Thirussur.
