The channel points out that ARR concert in Pune was stopped arbitrarily and chaos prevailed in Coimbatore as both are linked to BJP strongholds. ARR apologized to fans and event organizers agreed to refund those who did not get entry. Dheena alleged that ARR made Rs 20 crores from the concert and ARR daughter pointed out that this money goes towards charirty. ARR had once taken part in a function organised by Jayalalithaa and had to face ED investigation as part of cases against Jayalalithaa.

Hemanth has taken the entire blame and asked fans to not target ARR. In an another related incident TN CM Stalin’s convoy got stuck in the traffic jam due to the concert and for that three IPS officers in the judication got shunted out.

Citadel India web series a big risk for Samantha Citadel, with a whopping $300 million budget and high expectations, disappoints as it heavily relies on tired spy genre tropes, resulting in a predictable and unoriginal series lacking substance. LYCA Tamilkumaran polss most in Tamil Film Producers Council poll The Madras High Court directed the Tamil Film Producers Association to hold elections, and the 'Nalam Khakkum Team' candidates were successful in winning the positions of president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and joint-secretary. The election was conducted on April 30th at Chennai's MGR Janaki College campus, with Justices Venkatraman and Bharathidasan serving as Election Officers. A total of 1,111 votes were cast, and 'Thenandal' Murali Ramasamy from the 'Nalam Khakum Sami' won the position of president with 615 votes. GKM Tamilkumaran won the vice-president position with 651 votes, Archana Kalpathi received 588 votes and won, followed by Chandra Prakash Jain who won the treasurer position with 535 votes. Soundar Pandian won the position of joint-secretary with 511 votes.

Renowned documentarian Kartiki Gonsalves, Indian music composer AR Rahman, and sound designer Resul Pookutty had a memorable day with Oscar-winning film producer Guneet Monga, as captured in a photo she shared on social media. Monga expressed her honor at spending time with such accomplished individuals and noted the impressive achievement of having "5 Oscars in one picture." Monga and Gonsalves were the producer and director, respectively, of The Elephant Whisperers, which won Best Documentary Short Film at the 95th Academy Awards. Pookutty and two others won Best Sound Mixing for Slumdog Millionaire in 2009, while Rahman received Best Original Score and Best Original Song for the same film at the 81st Academy Awards.

A R Rahman son -in- law  Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed is a sound engineer, who hails from Coimbatore , Tamil Nadu. He does sound engineering for Rahman and composer Amit Trivedi. Riyasdeen has been working with Rahman on his live shows since 2017. His name first appeared in the credit titles of the Hindi film ` Tamasha' ( Ranbir Kapoor- Deepika Padukone) directed by Imitaz Ali and music by A R Rahman.  His name was on credit titles of Mersal, which stars Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal.

According to reports, Riyasdeen did his schooling in Coimbatore, got his mechanical engineering degree from Chennai's Mohamed Sathak A J College of Engineering and then did a diploma in audio engineering from KM College of Music & Technology, He did a part time job with  Shimmir Studios, Chennai and joined in 2014 as assistant audio engineer for the Sri Mutha Subba Rao Concert Hall in Harrington Road (Lady Andal school hall).
