Vijay Devarakonda Kingdom Negativity ? / Aishwarya Lekshmi ona roll/ Fahadh- Vadivelu Rocks

 Vijay Devarakonda Kingdom is ready for a Pan India release and that includes Hindi. The second song promo is getting trolled for Anirudh’s singing. Apart from this the film’s Producer Nag Vamsi feels that he has to fight so much of negativity that is spread about the film. Releasing on July 31 the film is about a man rebellion in an island with Bhagyasree Borse for company. Jersey fame Gowtam is directing the film.

Last week, there were reports that Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, which is coming to screens on July 31, will skip theatrical release for its Hindi version due to the OTT theatrical window and other issues. However the film’s producer revealed in a recent interview that the Hindi version is getting theatrical release. “Kingdom is releasing in Hindi. We didn't add it to the poster just because we've a title issue. It'll be released on the same day with a different title like Samraj or something,” said Naga Vamsi. 

Aishwarya Lekshmi ‘s popularity in Tamil along with Joju George and Urvasi , both known to Tamil viewers, Aasha is going to be a film to be released in  5 languages. Apart from Aishwarya has announced that she is soon to be reaming up with Gautham Ramachandran again after Gargi. Aishwarya was the co= producer of Gargi and it won accolades for Sai Pallavi who played the main lead.

The title-look poster of "Aasha" was also unveiled during the ceremony, sparking interest among film enthusiasts.

Presented by Ajith Vinayaka Films, the film is produced by Vinayaka Ajith. "Aasha" marks the directorial debut of Safar Sanal, who also pens the story. The screenplay and dialogues are jointly written by Joju George, Ramesh Girija, and Safar Sanal.

The trailer of the film 'Mareesan', starring popular Tamil actors Vadivelu and Bhagat Faasil, has been released. The trailer has been viewed by more than one million viewers within a short period of its release, setting a record.

 In an announcement that could get all the Prabhu Dheva-Vadivelu combo fans excited, The untitled project is written and directed by Sam Rodrigues, who previously helmed Prabhu Dheva's Musasi. The film, produced by Kannan Ravi, has music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Vignesh Vasu, editor Anthony, and stunt choreographer Peter Hein in the technical team.

The two actors have previously collaborated in Kaadhalan (1994), Love Birds (1995), Mr Romeo (1996), Kaathala Kaathala (1998), Manadhai Thirudivittai (2001), and Engal Anna (2004). Vadivelu has also featured in Prabhu Dheva's directorials Pokkiri (2007) and Villu (2009).

He was asked, “Lokesh, when you’re writing, is there a mathematical calculation like, Oh my God, he got a highlight in this scene, so he should get another highlight three scenes later?” His answer was: “No no, if I don’t have the highlight for that character, I won’t even approach them. Likewise, Soubin sir, and initially it was written for someone, some other star. I don’t want to mention the name, but I couldn’t work with him for various reasons. But I don’t know where to go after that because I really wrote it for him. I wrote for him for, uh, at least six months, and it was like he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t take it, and I don’t know where to fix that character.”

He didn’t reveal the name of the actor who was supposed to play that role initially. Then he went to Fahadh as his second option, and Soubin was his last option: “I want to work with Fahadh sir again, but Fahadh sir was also not available, and I didn’t want him to do the same thing he had done in Vikram. So I was searching for a lot of other actors, and finally, I’ve signed on Soubin sir.”

Coolie is releasing in theatres on August 14, 2025. The “Monica” song lyric video was recently released, and Soubin appeared in the video alongside Pooja Hegde. But here is a fun fact: according to Tupaki, that song was created for the character played by Nagarjuna, and in the final film, it is likely that Nagarjuna and Pooja are going to be the main focus. 

Fahadh- Vadivelu film Plot / Deepshika joins Sudeep / Vanitha Vijaykumar - Robert Siva Rathri angers Raja

 Maareesan will feature Vadivelu as an Alzheimer's patient who is affluent. When Fahadh Faasil's character sees Vadivelu withdrawing a sum of money from the ATM, he devises a plan to loot him. He offers to take Vadivelu, who is en route to Thiruvannamalai, till Nagercoil on his bike. However, the two bond over the journey. Whether the former robs the latter or not forms the crux of the film.This film is Sudheesh Sankar's second Tamil directorial venture, following Aarumaname (2009). Sudheesh is well-known for his work in Malayalam television and films, such as 2014's Villali Veeran. It also stars Vivek Prasanna as the friend of Fahadh's character, as well as PL Thenappan and Kovai Sarala as cops. The cast also includes Sithara, Livingston, Saravana Subbiah, Renuka, Krishna, Telephone Raja, and Haritha. On the technical front, Maareesan has composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, editor Sreejith Sarang, and cinematographer Kalaiselvan Sivaji. 

actor Deepshikha, known for her work in Michael, Ravikula Raghurama, and Maargan, has been finalised for one of the lead roles in Kocha Sudeep 47. She was also spotted at the muhurath event, hinting at her prominence in the story.
Another major addition to the cast is Naveen Chandra, who is said to be playing the main antagonist. Known for his work across Telugu and Tamil cinema. Kichcha Sudeep’s K47 has officially gone on floors with a simple muhurath ceremony held in Chennai. Directed by Vijay Karthikeyan, the film is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and marks Sudeep’s second collaboration with the director after Max.

actor Vanitha Vijaykumar and choreographer Robert's latest outing, Mrs & Mr hits theatres on Friday; the film has landed in legal trouble over the unauthorised usage of a song composed by veteran music composer Ilaiyaraaja.

The 'Siva Rathiri' song from Kamal Haasan's Michael Madana Kama Rajan (1990) has reportedly been used without permission in the film. The original song features Kamal Haasan and Rupini in a duet. Ilaiyaraaja's legal team has reportedly filed a case in the Chennai High Court seeking the removal of the song from Mrs & Mr.

Rajinikanth Kutty story sparks Thalapathy v/s Thalaivar war

 

Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan audio launch was marked by not one but two kutty stories and as usual it had Thalapathy fans overworked as some felt it was directed against their hero. Ban threat on Thug Life of Kamal - Mani - Fahadh Kannada dialogues a hit

Thug Life is facing a twin pronged attack from Producers Council. A group from Council executive met Kamal Haasan and told him that he is bound to do another film for Lingusamy banner to compensate for the loss of Utthama Villain. Kamal who in writing agreed to do a film for Thirupathy Brothers in a letter given by Chandra Haasan dated nine years back is told to give an assurance when the project will start. Usually if the person does not agree to honour the Council order, a non cooperation will be issued to all trade bodies The actor’s film will face issues in distribution and during shooting. Film Employees Federation will not take part in shooting. Ishari Ganesh of Vels International has asked Council and Federation that they issue a non cooperation order to all trade bodies as Simbhu aka STR is part of Thug Life. He says that STR who took money to do a three film as part of a deal and did only one film instead. Vels wants his money back and till then no STR film should be released. This means Thug Life will not be released till STR pays up Vels. In short, Thug Life is facing issues due to Kamal Haasan and STR. The film is produced by Kamal and Mani Ratnam banners.

Thalapathy Vijay to cut down on films - Valatty first in Indian cinema

Thalapathy Vijay who is going to test the political waters in the coming 2026 Tamil Nadu State polls will cut down on number of films that he is doing and spend more time with Vijay Makkal Iyakkam office bearers and the hundred odd ward councilors who won in the last local bodies election. However political analyst Rangaraj Pandey says that Vijay will not take the plunge for the upcoming State polls and would be fielding his candidates for the 2031 polls , as he would battle ready only then. He says that the 2031 poll will see BJP in a position to clinch power in Tamil Nadu. He foresees Vijay entry as a threat to heir apparent Udhaynidhi Stalin , son of DMK chief and CM M K Stalin. Pandey pointed out that it is evident that Vijay has an eye on politics as he announced that exam toppers in 234 constituencies would be awarded and deviated from the usual practice of giving District level toppers. Some political analysts said that Vijay’s call to end the cash for vote practice that is followed by both Dravidian parties is the reading that he got about cash being the deciding factor in each poll . There is a possibility of his Iyakkam taking the role of exposing the practice in the coming poll that is eight months away. Ironically, all parties have welcomed Vijay’s call to end cash for vote call , As Pandey pointed out that it would be immature to speak against the actor now. He has not spoken about any of his iyakkam plans or announced his entry, Pandey said. As caste plays a big hand in polls, the SC Christian background of Vijay ( real name Joseph Vijay) will also come into play. There is a buzz that the film that is to be launched and directed by Venkat Prabhu is a political vehicle that will tell about his future plans. Roshan Mathew, Shoubin , Sunny Wayne and Saiju Kurup have lend their voices to the canine actors. Devan took three years to shoot it as the dogs needed to be trained for the scenes. Friday Film House Vijay Babu who has been behind many hit films with novel subjects is the producer. Babu is currently producing a film with Suraj Venjaramoodu and Basil ( jay Jaya hey fame). Yet another collaboration with Karnataka producer Hombale Films and Malayalam industry is Dhoomam the Malyalam film starring Fahadh Faazil and directed by Kannada director Pawan. The film will be released simultaneously in Kerala and Karnataka on June 23rd and a week later in other South States.

Yash Rocky Bhai next with Geethu Mohandas - Dulquer next Telugu film - Fahadh Kannada film First look

Geethu Mohandas to direct Yash aka Rocky Bhai Yash, who played the lead role in KGF 2 released a year ago, has not committed to any projects since then. However, rumors are circulating that his next project may be directed by Geethu Mohandas, a National Award-winning director. According to sources close to the project, Yash and Geethu Mohandas have been discussing a possible collaboration for the past year, and Yash was impressed with the concept that she presented to him. Despite expectations that Yash would collaborate with big names in Indian cinema, he has chosen to work on a project with a respected figure from Malayalam cinema, which is expected to have a powerful script. Geethu Mohandas is known for her work in films such as Liar's Dice and The Elder One. Liar's Dice won six major international awards and two National Awards in India, and was India's official submission for the Best Foreign Film category at the 87th Academy Awards. Yash 19 is expected to begin filming in June and is aiming for a late 2024 release. Yash is also set to star in KGF 3 with Hombale Films, which will chronicle the story of Rocky Bhai from 1978 to 1981. Dulquer next Telugu film with Vaathi director Venky Atluri will direct Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming Telugu movie, which will be produced by Sitara Entertainments. The director previously had a hit bilingual film, Sir, with Dhanush. Following the success of SitaRamam in Tollywood, Dulquer has gained a good fan base in Andhra and Telangana. Currently, he is completing his work on King of Kotha, a bilingual film, and his production house has released Adi, a Malayalam film featuring Shine and Ahana in the lead roles. ---

Fahadh Dhoomam is revival of Pawan's shelved project Pawan Kumar is known for directing critically acclaimed Kannada films like "Lucia" and "U Turn", and had been in talks with actors such as Ganesh, Dhananjay, and Rakshit Shetty for an ambitious project called "C10H14N2" (the chemical formula for nicotine) for several years. However, this project did not materialize. It is now reported that "Dhoomam" is a revival of that same project, with Fahadh Faasil playing the lead role and Roshan Mathew and Aparna Balamurali in pivotal roles. The film was initially rumored to be aiming for a summer release this year. The film's first look poster is set to be unveiled on April 17 at 10:45 am, as per the makers' announcement on Sunday. The film is being produced by Hombale Films, the production company behind the successful KGF franchise and the recently-released Kannada film "Kantara".
