Siddharth 3BHK takes a lead over Ram film / Vedan scores music for Goli Soda sequel

 Siddharth’s film is currently trending better than Shiva’s film, which is 68% higher in total collection. Paranthu Po, in 10 days, has earned only 5.83 crore at the box office.On the tenth day, the second Sunday, 3BHK earned 91 lakh at the box office, It would have been phenomenal if the film would have hit the 1 crore mark, yet again, however, the numbers are still celebratory, as they witnessed a visible jump from the previous day which earned 86 lakh.

3BHK has surpassed Maha Samudram to become the 3rd highest-grossing film for the actor post-COVID. It would take another week to claim the second spot if the film manages to stay at the box office for another week!

Malayalam rapper Vedan (Hirandas Murali) is making his  film debut as muusic Director in director Vijay Milton's upcoming bilingual, tentatively titled Production No. 5.
The project also brings Telugu actor Raj Tarun into Tamil music for the first time.
Vedan first made waves with his 2020 track Voice of the Voiceless, which spoke out against caste and social injustice.

Vedan's move follows his success in Malayalam films like Kondal and Checkmate, showing he's ready to reach a bigger audience.
His recent song Kuthanthram from Manjummel Boys hit over 50 million streams, and he just picked up the Priyadarshini Award for his impact on music and culture.
Keep an eye out—the official movie title drops later this week! The director's upcoming film is touted to be a project related to his 2014 Goli Soda. The film also had a sequel Goli Soda 2, which was followed up by Goli Soda: Rising, a series which was released on JioHotstar.

Vedan had his first major his in 2020, with his song 'Voice of the Voiceless', that addressed the caste-based discrimination, marginalization, and social injustice. He has also sung for films like Nayattu, Padavettu, Kondal, Narivetta, and All We Imagine As Light.

Vedan was accused of sexual harrasment by several women as a part of the MeToo movement in 2020. He subsequently responded with an apology. He was also arrested for possession of cannabis, and was later released on bail.

Vijay Milton's upcoming film stars Bharath, Sunil, Aari Arjunan, Ammu Abhirami, Kishore DS, Vijetha, Prasanna Balachandran, and Imman Annachi. Rapper Paal Dabba is also part of the cast.

Rapper Vedan who sung for All we Imagine As Light and the promo song in Manjumel Boys is behind bard. Police officials have arrested Kerala rapper Vedan, after they recovered nearly six grams of ganja from his apartment near Vyttila in Kochi, Kerala.

The narcotic substance was allegedly recovered by the police following a tip-off. It is reported that Vedan had reached the apartment along with eight friends after a stage show.

Hirandas Murali, popularly known by his stage name, Vedan, is an Indian rapper and songwriter born in Thrissur, Kerala. The artist first found to fame in June 2020 when he released his debut music video, Voice of the Voiceless, on YouTube. The song gained attention and made him a well-known name among music lovers.

For his second music video, Bhoomi Njan Vazhunidam, Vedan teamed up with noted Malayalam music composer Sushin Shyam for the promo track Kuthanthram in the film Manjummel Boys. Vedan has sung songs such as Narabali for Nayattu and Maranathin Niram for No Way Out.

n 2024, he worked on Kondal Vedan Song for the film Kondal and Kisses in the Clouds for All We Imagine as Light. Vedan featured in KSHMR’s album KARAM with the track La Vida. His songs also include Vaa, Budhanayi Pira, and Social Criminal.

Charges Against Vedan

In 2021, Vedan was accused of sexual misconduct via a post that was shared on a Facebook page as part of the MeToo movement

He later issued an apology, responding to the allegations. He posted "It is possible that when I emerge from my retreat aimed at correcting myself I may not find myself capable of singing again… It might mean just going back to where I came from...I do not know. All I know is that no matter what happens in life, I do not want to be a man who behaves badly with any human being, especially women."

Anil S Kumar responded and stated that he as part of his policy he doesn't post pictures online.

He said "Yes, of course. I can understand and appreciate your asking. As many have come to understand, though, I don't post family pics online."

Anil S Kumar is an entrepreneur and engineer by profession. He along with Ajith Kumar's wife Shalini, and kids Anoushka and Aadvik were present when Ajith was conferred the Padma Bhushan.
