Rapper Vedan who sung for All we Imagine As Light and the promo song in Manjumel Boys is behind bard. Police officials have arrested Kerala rapper Vedan, after they recovered nearly six grams of ganja from his apartment near Vyttila in Kochi, Kerala.

The narcotic substance was allegedly recovered by the police following a tip-off. It is reported that Vedan had reached the apartment along with eight friends after a stage show.

About Vedan

Hirandas Murali, popularly known by his stage name, Vedan, is an Indian rapper and songwriter born in Thrissur, Kerala. The artist first found to fame in June 2020 when he released his debut music video, Voice of the Voiceless, on YouTube. The song gained attention and made him a well-known name among music lovers.

For his second music video, Bhoomi Njan Vazhunidam, Vedan teamed up with noted Malayalam music composer Sushin Shyam for the promo track Kuthanthram in the film Manjummel Boys. Vedan has sung songs such as Narabali for Nayattu and Maranathin Niram for No Way Out.

n 2024, he worked on Kondal Vedan Song for the film Kondal and Kisses in the Clouds for All We Imagine as Light. Vedan featured in KSHMR’s album KARAM with the track La Vida. His songs also include Vaa, Budhanayi Pira, and Social Criminal.

Charges Against Vedan

In 2021, Vedan was accused of sexual misconduct via a post that was shared on a Facebook page as part of the MeToo movement

He later issued an apology, responding to the allegations. He posted "It is possible that when I emerge from my retreat aimed at correcting myself I may not find myself capable of singing again… It might mean just going back to where I came from...I do not know. All I know is that no matter what happens in life, I do not want to be a man who behaves badly with any human being, especially women."

He said "Yes, of course. I can understand and appreciate your asking. As many have come to understand, though, I don't post family pics online."

Anil S Kumar is an entrepreneur and engineer by profession. He along with Ajith Kumar's wife Shalini, and kids Anoushka and Aadvik were present when Ajith was conferred the Padma Bhushan.

Mythri Movie Makers took a Rs 65 crore loan from Zee for release of Sunny Deol Jaat. They are also the makers of  Ajith’s Good Bad and Ugly in Tamil. The news that Sunny Deol had mediated the loan from Zee comes as a shock and they are the producers of Blockbuster Pushpa two franchises. GBU has collected Rs 73 crores so far and Day 1 collection of Rs 28 crores is a record but Day 2 was a shocker with Rs 14 cr and rise to Rs 19 crore on Day 3. Sunday collection is at Rs 9 cr by Sacnik, Monday too is a public holiday.

Pa Ranjith is in talks with author Ramchandra Guha to direct a biopic on Palwankar Baloo , first Player from Dailt  caste to don the Indian jersey for cricket National team.

Natarajan. Palwankar Baloo, a left-arm spin bowler, is often cited as the first Dalit cricketer to represent India. Vinod Kambli, known for his talent and partnership with Sachin Tendulkar, also played for the national team. More recently, T. Year back, there was an announcement that Ajay Devgn is acting in a biopic of Baloo. This too was said to be based on Guha’s book. Priti Sinha, daughter of Andaz Apna Apna's producer Vijay Sinha, announced this development on her Twitter. In the tweet, she confirmed, "Ajay Devgn, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Priti Sinha have teamed up to produce a film based on Ramachandra Guha's book 'A Corner Of A Foreign Field'. The book tells the remarkable story of cricketer Palwankar Baloo and his brothers." The director, cast, and crew for the film are yet to be finalized.

Producer Mythiri is releasing this film in Tamil Nadu and other States on a low key note. As the trailer shows, Ram Charan will play a dual role as a young IAS officer and a father who wants to serve society.

This isn’t the first time Shankar has made a political drama. He has already made the cult classic Mudhalvan, also remade in Hindi as Nayak The Real Hero. Both are some of Shankar’s biggest hits.

Apart from being a politician, Venkatesan won the Sahitya Akademi Award for his Tamil novel Kaval Kottam. The Tamil film Aravaan (2012) was based on the same novel.

Director Shankar has firmly said that Indian 3 will release only in theatres first and later on OTT. This happy news for Kamal and Shankar fans has excited Kollywood too. Shankar admitted that hhe did not expect a heavy negative reviews for Indian 3 but all the same, he did not take it to heart and went ahead with Game Changer remaining portions.

 Director Shankar is 100 % confident that Game Changer will redeem his image of a mass director. In his direction he is confident enough to even reveal his film plot of Ram Charan as IAS officer v/s Politician Suryah/. He also revealed that his next is Velpari and it requires two big actors. This means that he is confident of getting a producer or has already got one. This Shankar confidence shows that Game Changer will be one for the Director and also for Indian 3.
