Kamal Haasan has left for USA for the AI course that he enrolled. Though many reported that he was already in USA for past few weeks, we told you that he is busy wrapping Thug  Life in Chennai. He took part in a  wrap-up party and left for USA. Morning papers would have filled you with the details of his MNM party general body . They elected him Permanent President. It may seem silly as who could possibly take that post. We have seen developments in AIADMK post Jayalalithaa death when the General secretary post became so crucial for two groups trying to take control of the party. It was a far sighted clause in the party constitution that is causing pin pricks now.

Next is that Jeyam Ravi has retrieved his Instagram account which was in his wife Aarti’s control. He wrote to #Meta and got it back as he needs to promote his films. From Kochi we get a shocking news that medical reports of the victim who was `raped’ by Siddique at Mascot Hotel Trivandrum and eyewitness to the mental trauma and subsequent treatment for the victim has been recorded. If you think Prithviraj is rolling in wealth and that too after he bought a Rs 30 crore office space for his production company in Pali Hill of Mumbai, you are wrong. In fact the producers of the films are the ones that has got a bonanza. Now Prithviraj  works on a commission basis. So lets take what he took home from the share of two films – Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil and Goat Life . Both together earned Rs 250 crores. He took home only Rs 50 crore !. We are told that bulk of it came from Goat Life and as for Guruvayoor he did not get much as he quoted a lesser commission . Probably he did not expect it to collect Rs 90 crore.

 

Jeyam Ravi divorce suit to be contested by wife

At that time our friends in Family Court had asked us as to how Jeyam Ravi could issue a statement even before the court verdict and that we could be in the wrong. We got back to our source who looked up court registry and confirmed it. We were told that Ravi's statement is a violation of Court procedures and will invite action. The statement was obviously prepared by Ravi's lawyer and in a bid to stall any further questions on divorce, it was released on the birthday of the actor. It was intially planned that Ravi would meet the media and talk about his upcoming films and seal divorce matter with the statement on social media. In what seems to be a goofup, the statement got out before the divorce came through. From wife Aarti statement expressing ignorance of any such divorce being granted. it is obvious that it was not a case of mutual consent. So what are the options left for Jeyam Ravi and our lawyer team tells us : If she expresses before the Judge that now at this stage she doesn't consent to a divorce on mutual consent, even though she had earlier signed the joint petition, the Judge is bound to dismiss the petition. Again, if she doesn't appear before the Court to tell the Judge about her consent to divorce on mutual consent still then, the Judge will be left with no other option but to dismiss the joint petition for divorce on mutual consent. In such a situation, if you so wish, Ravi may file a fresh suit for divorce on any specific ground for which a divorce can be granted. The suit may be contested by Ravi's wife.

Aarti has said that the decision to walk out has been one sided by Ravi abd that it does not beniefit the family. This implies that the alimony is not upto her demands and will be contested. From what it looks like the divorce suit filed by Ravi will be contested .
