Suriya in Tamil and Shah Rukh Khan in Hindi will be seen in the role of a journalist who takes the audience through the protagonist’s journey in flashback of the Rocketry : Nambi Effect. R Madhavan who directs the film appears in multiple looks. Since the story traverses different timelines, he paid special attention to his looks. He went through physical transformations to get a look strikingly similarly to Nambi Narayanan. The film in Tamil- Hindi – Malayalam is based on Nambi Narayanan’s own book ‘Ready to fire: How India and I survived the ISRO spy case’, which details about the controversial case and his infamous arrest.
South film buffs were taken aback to read in B’Town portals
that Shankar Shanmughan is to direct Ram Charan in a multi – lingual film. It
is none other our own Shankar, it turned out. An over enthu PR dug out out the full name of S Shankar. Priyadarshan
who has not been in B’Town for past 9 years will be back this summer with
Hungama 2 that has Paresh Rawal- Silpa Shetty, Meezaan, Pranitha Subhash, Rajpal Yadav, Tiku Talsania, Manoj Joshi and
Johny Lever in pivotal roles. Ratan the producer said the film is in
edit stage and release date will be announced soon. Priyan is waiting for
Marakaar the multi lingual film with Mohan Lal to release. It has been caught
in Covid crisis and is waiting for a pan India release date.
More on RRR –Rajamouli film. Alia Bhatt is keen to sing her own songs in the Telugu – Tamil version apart from the Hindi. She had earlier sung for two of her Hindi films. It seems that Rajamouli and Boney who had a run in over release dates of Maidaan and RRR , had a rift sometime back. The director wanted Sreedevi to act in Bahubali. Boney felt that acting with a non Star like Prabhas needed a big compensation. He demanded the Hindi theatrical and satellite rights apart from money. Many clauses were put in fine print about the demands to be met during shoot. RRR ‘s South theatrical rights has touched Rs 348 crores.
Karan Johar’s Dharma Production revealed the first look poster of Vijay Deverakonda – Ananya Pandey starrer Liger and said “Roaring and raring to go! Get ready to experience #Liger as it gears up for a worldwide theatrical release on 9th September 2021, in 5 languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam.” Vijay will speak his own Hindi lines. Both producer Karan Johar and Vijay have taken a call to stick to the star’s own voice in Hindi.
