The news from the iconic actor Rajkiran that his son Tipu Sultan Nainar Muhammed is
currently working on the screenplay of the sequel to En Rasavin Manasile and
that the story has already been locked has surprised everybody in the industry.
The proud father said that his son who turned 20 would soon finish the work.
Rajkiran who was a successful distributor
turned producer- hero with this film. The director Kasthooru Raja ( now father
of director Selvaraghavan and actor Dhanush) directed the film. The film took
Meena to dizzying heights and so also Rajkiran. Rajkiran went on to be the
first hero in Tamil cinema to charge Rs 1 lakh per film when Rajinikanth was
charging only Rs twenty thousand less than him. Rajkiran directed Aramana Kili
and Ellame En Rasa than. He has bagged several best actors from the Tamil Nadu
State Government.
Suffering losses as producer, Rajkiran
led a secluded life and despite financial problems, he did not succumb to
offers that came his way for money. He accepted only character roles that kept
his image that he portrayed as hero was alive. As he was selective, he became
the most expensive character actor. He also never accepted villain roles .
His son had his entire education through
private coaching. His tutor in cinema making is said to his father. Years
later, Rajkiran acted in Pa Pandi , debut direction of Dhanush ( whose father
directed him in his debut film). Rajkiran fans are looking for a combo of
Rajkiran’s son directing Dhanush and Meena’s daughter play a pivotal role.
Rajkiran for the first time did a non Tamil film – Shylock the Mammooty film in
which he co-starred with his first heroine Meena after two decades.
