Director Shankar son in law goes underground as Puducherry Police book POSCO case


 Director Shankar's son - in - law Rohit and his father Damodaran along with three others have gone underground after Puducherry Police registered a POSCO charge against them. Rohitis captain of the Puducherry Cricket Club and owner of Madurai Panthers in Tamil Nadu Premier League. His father Damodharan is a businessman. He married Shankar's daughter Aishwarya , a Doctor by profession at a function on ECR in Chennai. Among the few invitess who attended the wedding was TN CM M K Stalin and son Udhaynidhi. Aishwarya's younger sister is slated to make her debut as heroine in Actor Suriya- Jyotika company 2 D Entertainment. Shankar is currently busy with Ram Chran film pre shoot work.

The cricket club was operating on Government land without permission and encroached on beach area violating CRZ rules. Then Lt Governor Kiran Bedi had sealed the premises and the land. During this period, cricket coaching was shifted to a Government school ground.  A 12th Std girl student complained that two coaches had physically abused her. The Club according to the girl asked her to ` adjust' with the coaches. She then filed a complaint before the State child welfare commission.

The commission found the coaches and the management guilty of the charges levelled by the girl. Based on a direction , Puducherry police has booked owner Damodran and son Rohit , secretary, two coaches. All of them are at time of writing not arrested by police.
