Directing after seven years, Alphonse’s film after
Premam has created a buzz and is most awaited film. The is
jointly produced by Supriya Menon under the banner of Prithviraj Productions
and Listin Stephen of Magic Frame.
Ashirwaad Cinemas who are producers of Big Bro are holding
the big budgeted Marakkar with Mohanlal as the theatres are yet to open. Given
this scenario , there is speculation that Big Bro will release directly on OTT
and it might be Disney Hotstar. OTT trade sources said that the budget of a
film with Mohanlal and Prithiviraj ( latter also directing) is high enough for
any OTT and producer can make his money only through theatre and OTT.
Actor Sunny Wayne debut film Padavettu with Nivin Pauly in
two different getups is stuck in financial problems. Yoodle Films who were so
far producing films in Hindi and Tamil with Mukesh Mehta as co- producer has
underwritten this film . Lijju, a new comer directs the film with Aditi Balan
as heroine.
