The Kongu belt always considered the fortress of ADMK shows that the ruling party has 38% vote share whie DMK is only 28% share. At stake are 40 seats for State polls. The voting share of MNM is 9.5% , the highest it gets from any region and NTK gets a 4% share of votes. If these parties increase the voter share, ADMK would have a tough battle as these parties are eating into the ADMK votes and not DMK’s.
Similarly the central TN is an area where the arch rivals are almost close to each other. The DMK has an edge of 4% over ADMK with 34% voter share. MNM is said to be garnering 6% and NTK with 4%. It means that these parties can spoil ADMK chances.
South Districts which have been DMK strongholds continue to do so. Here ADMK is seeing ersion of it’s vote banks by MNM taking 6.40% and NMK with7.61%. ADMK is left with24.58% and DMK has 35.90%. In contrast to other regions , MNM and NTK have limited vote share. North districts which includes Chennai show that MNM has only 2.65% ( biggest share is from Chennai) and NTK with 2.68%. DMK fortress remains intact with 42.93% while ADMK is 32.96%. PMK the ADMK ally seems to losing it’s grip and likely to not help the ruling party.
