Udhayanidhi Stalin wants Mari Selvaraj film to be his next release

 


Udhayanidhi Stalin after the Assembly session is over will  devote entire time towards the completion of the film directed by Mari Selvaraj, revealed a source.  Udhay plans to have Mari Selvaraj film as his first release  after being an MLA> The subject has the right elements Udhay is looking for . Mari's two earlier films dealt with the struggles of the backward castes. The actor- politician has told the director that he is to get more involved in the Government and be part of decision making. In view of this he wants to honour the commitment made to Mari Selvaraj and do the film  in one stretch. A R Rahman is to score the film.

Mari Selvaraj who has got the nod to commence work on Dhruv Vikram project has asked Udhayanidhi about it. Dhruv Vikram is said to be taking lessons from real life Kabbadi players and coaches. He was told that as soon as the House ends the session, he would be ready to attend the shoot and asked him to do all preparatory work.

Sources say that Udhayanidhi would after completing this film and winding up two more films that he has signed , would not taking be up any acting assignments. His banned Red Giant is already active in acquiring distribution of Tamil films and is said to have bought Kamal's Vikram. The business aspect of distribution would continue as usual. Till the present DMK rule continues, awould concentrate on his MLA duties and the youth wing affairs. The local body poll coming ahead would see him in a bigger role. Udhayanidhi has almost wrapped up shoot with director Magizh Thirumeni said to be a action thriller. He  started work on  this film soon after elections/ He has a film with Arunkumar Raja - remake of Article 15.

Mari Selvaraj a former associate of director Ram debut film Pariyerum Perumal with no Stars was a hit. His next with Dhanush was Karnan , yet another blockbuster hit.
