As school and colleges reopen in many Indian States, Illaiyaraja has been signed to compose 12 songs for a musical titled `Music School'. The film is about the education system that lays stress on muging up answers and putting them on paper. This unimaginative system of education is the subject of the film directed by Papa Rao Biyyala . He tells us the story of those kids who laugh, - dream- sing and have a love to arts and sports. It is their musical journey from Hyderabad to Goa.
The film has 12 songs composed by Illaiyaraja. Three songs from the Sound of Music that will be used situationally. Shriya Saran, popular face in South teams up with Sharman Joshi. Other actors are Suhasini Mulay, Benjamin Gilani, Prakash Raj, Telugu comedian Brahmanandam, Vinay Varma, Gracy Goswamy, and Ozu Barua. The Hollywood choreographer Adam Murry.
His latest release is as Choreographer on Elton John's movie musical Rocketman for Paramount Pictures, alongside Director, Dexter Fletcher. He has since finished production on Disney's live action prequel, Cruella ( now streaming on Disney HotStar), and has also recently worked on the latest film in the Kingsman series, The King's Man. Both films are now due for release in the UK in 2021.

It was Illaiyaraja's score that made Adam take up the job for the Hindi- Telegu film. Yet another valuable addition is Kiran Deohans whose work in Jodhaa Akbar was mazing. He is all set to capture Goa in all its splendor. The film kick starts from October 15th. Biyyala is a New York Film Academy product and his documentary won the National Award and two international awards. .
