BB4 Tamil Jan 8 episode review by Leo
Jan 8th episode is so far the best among the 96 days of boredom that BB4 provided to viewers. Though a Leo, I am saying so not coz of the song Singapennae song played at the end. Such sentiments do not affect me. BB4 had decided that it shall not deviate from giving boring stuff to bring about sleep, especially during the lockdown period, Jan 8 had some interesting moments that cropped up.
The awards given to each person was very apt . Balaji for instance did admit that it was him and Aari who did not play the safe game in the house and so they got the most negative points. Every contestant got the title that they deserved and they accepted it gracefully. Before switching to my Hotstar App, I went through Twitter. One video said that Aari who claims to have planted 50000 saplings nd saw it grow for a Limca record, did not bother to water the plant given to him on entering the House. It was Remya who did it inside the House. As if on a cue, Aari gave an award to Remya today for this deed. There was no ganging up or manipulation. Does it matter now ???
The task given to hold the rope threw up some interesting outcomes. Balaji who first erred decided to hang on till BB4 said so. However he knew that it was a foul play and all his endurance would be waste, decided to quit on talk of sportsmanship by Aari. Many others who quit did mostly as others noticed it. It was Aari who quit even before other’s noticed. Commendable!!!. Rio’s groupism came out as he blew his cool when Som quit. As usual Balaji went into a huddle with Aari for a brother- brother talk after the spat. They came to the conclusion that the task ranking was nothing as it was the public votes that mattered. Both of them are in the bottom. Som and Rio hearing this got upset.
Now let us get to the touching moment ( My boss Ayyappa feels so ). Remya and Shivani lasted more than other players by hanging to the rope for more than two hours. BB puts out ARR song Singapennae. What a daring feet of endurance! They are Lioness. As a Leo, I was upset that using this moment, other players exploited it by hugging these lioness hanging on to the ropes ( for it is their last ticket to be in the game).
Remya cried and so did Shivani. As Remya had cried only once in the past weeks, BB4 viewers might see it as a watershed moment. Shivani had made tears her specialty. Even BB said she looks good when crying. The episode did not end with results of tasks. It can be safely understood that with 7 points each to the Singapennae gals, they still are nowhere in the top. Let’s wait for elimination. Double or single? If single, it will be one of the Singapennae – Shivani – Remya.
My BOSS says that Balaji as judge , making Shivani team winner in the cleaning of teeth Is partiality. He himself said both are equally good. BOSS did not see any visuals that gave Shivani team the edge. My reason is that one does not clean teeth with banian as Aari did. Even if the banian was soaked in Hamam.
