Ajith v/s Dhanush on April 10th / Balakrishna beats Kamal Haasan in Netflix / Marco Director signs Karan Johar film

Ajith Kumar Good Bad Ugly and Dhanush, Idly Kadai , both who are currently given box office disasters are set to compete on April 10th. Now there are reports that Dhanush film Idly Kadai will pull out from this date as he acts and directs it . The total India net collection of NEEK directed by Dhanush now comes to 5.67 crore*. The film is now inching towards 6 crores and end up as a theatre disaster. The opening was just about Rs 1.5 crore. The total losses of Vidamuyurchi is much higher than the Ajith’s s salary. Given that both are having a disaster history, does it matter , if they moves away from competition ? Dhanush Directorial NEEK in three days has crashed .. As NEEK does not have Dhanush as hero, he can say that that Idly Kadai is a different ball game as he and Nithya Menen the Thiruchitrambalam pair is featuring in this. If Dhanush film moves to avoid Ajith film Good Bad and Ugly, it will give hardly any gap for his next release Kubera directed by Sekar Kammula and it has Nagarjuna too in the cast. Kubera release date is June 30th and if Idly Kadai moves to May, there will be only one month gap. So will Dhanush Producers take on Ajith’s GBD ? . Ironically, GBD for Ajith and Idly Kadai for Dhanush are crucial now.

Kamal Haasan makes way for Balakrishna for Netflix viewers ,Daaku Maharaaj has surpassed the debut views of many South Indian films released on Netflix between 2024-2025. It has left behind Kamal Haasan‘s Indian 2 (1.7 million) by 41% higher views. The action-adventure has also axed Kadhalikka Neramillai (2.2 million), Meiyazhagan (1.9 million), Savi (1.8 million), Bagheera (1.7 million) and Rifle Club (1 million), among others. The action-adventure remained behind Dhoom Dhaam, the only other Indian film in the top 10. Yami Gautam & Pratik Gandhi starrer landed at the second spot with its staggering viewership of 5.8 million in its second week. The makers of the film dropped the exciting mass number 'Dabidi Dibidi' as Daaku Maharaaj movie's third single. Featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bollywood's sultry actress Urvashi Rautela, the song received backlash for the dance steps composed by Sekhar master. Some reports said that this song has been edited from OTT version but it was not. In fact Urvasi danced this song during India-Pakistan cricket match currently held at Dubai International Stadium. The movie is based on the life of real-life dacoit Maan Singh.
