Ajith- Vijay sethupathi- Vignesh project ON / Why Atlee - Salman film on hold ?

Is Vijay Sethupathi finally going to act in a Ajith film ?. From what we hear it is going to be true as the Vignesh Shivan project that was shelved will be revived soon and whether it will be next or in the pipeline we are not sure but it has got life. One reason that Ajith rejected the film was that it was a bit underwhelming and apart from that the film was certain to clash with Vijay’s film. Since then Wikki has reworked on it and present script is in tune with Ajith kind of film. Lyca could be backing this as it would sort of compensate the Vidamuyurchi loss. Billa, Viswasam, Aarambam with Nayanthara have been hits and quite likely it could come back again. Sethupathi was part of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan directed by Vignesh and later in own production Rowdy Pictures Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal . Vijay Sethupathi is set to act in a Web Series to be made by Jio Hotstar titled, Muthu Engira Kattan. This Web Series is said to be a rural action drama also featuring Bollywood Actor, Jackie Shroff in a prominent role. Earlier, Director Manikandan came on board for the Series and also shot a few episodes but it is now learned that he has opted out. Director Arumuga Kumar is being considered for helming the Director’s work. Apart from this, Makkal Selvan’s Vijay Sethupathi’s films in pipeline are Ace and Train which are scheduled for release in 2025. Soon he will be back on Jio Hotstar for Ultimate Bigg Boss. Vignesh Shivan is currently focused on his upcoming directorial venture, Love Insurance Kompany, starring Pradeep Ranganathan of Love Today fame, Krithi Shetty, and SJ Suryah. Atlee- Salman Khan project at Rs 500 cr budget has not dropped but by March end things will be clear after Salman is back from Saudi shoot for a ca,eo in Hollywood film. Sun Pictures would not back the film without a South Superstar and Rajini- Kamal had said no. In fact Salman a co= producer had arranged Atlee meeting with Hollywood Star Will Smith. Sun Pictures was not ready to go without a South Superstar presence. ( source Bollywood Hungama) Atlee and Allu Arjun project is to start and Trivikram has been told to wait.
