Dhanush wins First Round of copyright case / Priyadarshan- Yesudas FaceOff - REAL TRUTH ?

Netflix case against Dhanush Wunderbar Films in the copyright case has been dismissed. The wedding documentary on Nayanthara that was streamed on the OTT platform was found to be violation of copyright as it contained clips from the film Nannum Rowdy Thaan produced by Dhanush. Dhanush had asked for Rs 10 crore for the clips running into seconds. Dhanush lawyer argued that the documentary had used a BTS video while filming the feature film and that itself was a copyright violation and the dres worn by Nayanthara in the clips used for documentary was property of the production company. Madras High Court after dismissing case has posted main case by Dhanush on February 5.

National award winner M G Sreekumar has finally given an official version of the infamous fight between Priyadarshan and K J Jesudas. Official version as MG is in inner circle of the Priyan – Mohanlal group. The version given by MG differs from the one that is circulated around. The version is that Priyan landed at the Tharangini recording theatre ( owned by Yesudas) where Reghu Kumar the music director was explaining a song to K J Jesudas. The film was Boeing Boeing and Priyan was the Director. Yesudas was in the singer’s cabin and Priyan and friends was in recording console room with music director. As a rehearsal was going on a few improvisations came across the mike to Yesudas headphones and voice was of not Reghu’s. Who is this “ asked Yesudas. Priyan came the answer, What business does he have here ? comes counter. I am the Director says Priyan. I don’t tolerate interference from Director and only music Director can connect with me replies Yesudas. Among the friends was M G Sreekumar !.
