Leo slows down and will not cross Jailer - Rashmika in Girlfriend - S J Suryah in Nani film

Leo box office collections will not surpass Jailer in two Telugu States and Karnataka. First day it grossed Rs 15 cr and second day it fell to Rs 5 crore in two Telegu States. In Karnataka, it opened to Rs 13 crore and second day it is Rs 4 crore. In Kerala, number of shows has been reduced and Mammooty’s Kannur sqad that released one month back has increased the shows. Producer Lalit Kumar said that the weak business in North India due to multiplexes not screening them. Kumar said that after they sold the OTT rights the North Indian multiplexes decided that a 8 week window from release date and OTT streaming was needed for a film. In Tamil Nadu, collections are dropping. From Rs 27 crores it dropped to Rs 15 cr and third day it was Rs 13 cr. It just surpassed Rs 50 cr and in contrast Jailer in three days touched Rs 76 cr. The person most affected by Leo was Shiva Rajkumar. His film Ghost did not get enough theatres in Central Bangalore due to Leo and two Telugu films. Word of mouth is good and now shows have increased and moving to a hit status.
