Ponniyin Selvan 2 trailor blocked - Rajini family gets special treatment- Akhil abusing Malayalam Bigg Boss video viral

The much-awaited sequel to Ponniyin Selvan is set to release in less than a month and the film's makers have decided to suspend its promotion. The audio and trailer for Ponniyin Selvan 2 were launched at a grand event in Chennai on March 29. Fans were eagerly awaiting the trailer's release on social media as the launch began at 6 PM, and it was finally unveiled around 10 PM. The trailer quickly gained the attention of fans, but it was later blocked on YouTube by Sun TV, the film's satellite partner, leaving fans surprised. The official audio and trailer launch for Ponniyin Selvan 2 will soon be aired on television, and the satellite partner has been removing unofficial videos from the event on social media. However, as the trailer was published on two YouTube channels, the satellite partner did not want to break the video views and only removed the other video.

The Nomadic tribe, Narikorvars, was denied entry into a city theatre opposite Chennai main bus terminus. The theatre staff threatened the family, including the children, and they were forced to leave. The incident was captured on video and went viral. The theatre was screening the film Paathu Thala starring STR, which was certified U/A, which the theatre management said that it means that children cannot be allowed to watch the film.

The incident sparked controversy when netizens posted photos and videos of Rajinikanth's daughter, Aishwarya, attending a show of Dad's Darbar with her 10-year-old son at the same theatre, Rohini Theatres. As per the censor rules, children below the age of 12 can attend shows if accompanied by their parents. This led to netizens questioning whether the rules were different for Rajinikanth's family and the Narikuravar tribe.

Legally, the Rohini management could face a case of discrimination against the Narikuravar tribe, which is classified as the Most Backward Tribe in Tamil Nadu and was recently added to the Scheduled Tribe list by the Union Government.

A viral video features Akhil Marar, a contestant on the ongoing season 5 of the Malayalam reality show Bigg Boss, in which he is seen criticizing the show. The video, which has been circulating for some time, shows Akhil expressing that the show is offensive and suggests that it would be better to go to the top floor of Lulu Mall and expose oneself instead. Akhil has previously directed a film titled Oru Thativika Avalokan, featuring Joju George, which was a box office failure. He is known for defending Mohanlal's recent unsuccessful ventures on various YouTube channels, leading some to believe that he was given a spot on Bigg Boss due to his support for the show's host. Another video has emerged in which Akhil mistakenly refers to Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan as "Panna" while making a dig at him.
