Indian 2 shoot at Kalpakkam
Kamal Haasan is currently working on the filming of 'Indian 2' at the outskirts of Chennai, and his arrival has caused nearby fans to flock to the shooting location hoping to catch a glimpse of the renowned actor. The gathering of fans at the exit gate grew larger and ended up blocking Kamal Haasan's path. However, the actor graciously stepped onto a stand to wave at his adoring fans and express gratitude for their love and support. The set of 'Indian 2' became highly energetic due to the enthusiastic chants from the crowd. Kamal Haasan appears to be filming for his character Senapathy, as he is seen sporting a clean-shaven look.
The 'Indian 2' shoot is currently happening at Sadras Dutch Fort in Kalpakkam, and the team plans to continue filming for another week at the location. Kajal Aggarwal is also part of the cast and has confirmed her presence on set by sharing a picture. Other actors in significant roles include Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, and Guru Somasundaram. The late actor Vivek's role will not be replaced in the movie. Anirudh Ravichander is in charge of the music, and the first single is expected to be released soon.
Fahadh Faasil in Romancham director's next
Fahadh Faasil has been absent from Malayalam cinema for almost a year, but he is now collaborating with Anwar Rasheed for an upcoming film. On March 9, the film began shooting, as evidenced by a photo of the clapboard shared by actor-producer Nazriya Nazim on social media with the caption "Rolling from today!" The clapboard indicates that the film is being directed by Jithu Madhavan, the director of 'Romancham', and Sameer Thahir is the cinematography director. The project is being produced by Anwar Rasheed and Nazriya Nazim. Fahadh Faasil also confirmed the news on his social media, saying "Rolling from today. Jithu Madhavan, Anwar Rasheed, Nazriya Nazim, Sameer Thahir #AnwarRasheedEntertainments #FahadhFaasilAndFriends."
Fahadh Faasil will be next seen in 'Paachuvum Athbhuthavilakkum'. The upcoming film is helmed by the debutant Akhil Sathyan. The makers have announced the release date as April 28.
Illaiyaraaja loses cool at audio launch
At the audio launch , Ilaiyaraaja, the composer of 'Viduthalai', assured fans that the plot of the film will be a new one for Tamil cinema. He then called Vetrimaaran one of the most important directors of Kollywood, and he has been saying it after scoring music for 1500 films as he worked with over 1000 directors. Ilaiyaraaja also assured fans that his music in the film will be unique. Ilaiyaraaja turned angry in the mid as fans cheered continuously when he tried to sing a line from the film's song.
Director Vetrimaaran has been working on the Tamil film 'Viduthalai', featuring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi, for over two years. This highly anticipated project has been split into two parts, with the first part set to release on March 30. At a grand event held on March 8, the makers unveiled the film's audio and trailer, which promise an intriguing storyline. Although Vijay Sethupathi missed out on the opportunity to star in Vetrimaaran's previous film 'Vada Chennai', he expressed concerns about watching the film as it may evoke regret. He also confirmed that Vetrimaaran is currently working on the script for 'Vada Chennai 2'.
