While Host Mohanlal salary has risen from Rs 10 crores to Rs 24 crores , starvation and lack of essential body cleaning matierals inside the Bigg Boss Season 7 Malayalam and outside a huge debts accured due to buying clothes, makeup items and lingeries is the current situation of those who got evicted in last one month. Kalabhavan Sariga one of the evicted contestant revealed this in an open talk. She said the BB production team asked her to be ready with dress for 100 days stay, She took loans from many and bought the dresses, makeup amd lingeries. She was promised Rs 20,000 per day. Considering this and also a potshot at Rs 50 lakh prize money, taking a loan was seen as a worthy risk. On day one the dress was not given as part of a task and after that rations were frugal as part of the game. She said that for days they ate only rice and dal and sometimes tomatoes. She said that the sample pack of a small soap, toothbrush kept in hotel rooms was what was given to contestants.
Yet another
contestant in Bigg Boss Malayalam is RJ Bincy (Bincymol Biju), who is a popular radio
jockey and TV host from Kottayam. She entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7
in August 2025, hosted by Mohanlal, but was evicted from the show after a few
weeks. She too took loans to buy a wardrobe and met same date as Sariga, Not
only that she also faced an allegation of having being too close to Appani
Sarath a married actor and co contestant.
Anumol who
tops the voting by public poll gets Rs 50,000 per day and another person was
Renu Sudhi a social media celeb. Renu unable to bear the harsh conditions
inside the house quit on her own as she could get a better comfortable life
outside. Next most paid are Shanavas a serial actor and Appani Sarath film actor
with Rs 35000 per day. Binny Sebastain serial actress and Munshi with Rs 15000
are on top paid list. Munshi got evicted and Binny continues. All others are
getting Rs 10,000 per day, Nivin the choreographer and effeminate contestant as
well as Mumbai based demale model Gizele are paid directly by Banijay and they
were selected by the Mumbai Production house. The money paid to Gizele is said to be on an monthly vasis and could be in several lakhs. Nivin who challenged BB and walked out entered back as he apologized. This firsst time that BB allowed a contestant who walked out back. Appani who got evicted had faced charges of
using foul language against the women inside the house
It looks
like the current season has not much funds to splurge upon the contestants. My
