His uncle, Uddhav Thackeray, is a former Maharashtra Chief Minister. While many in his family, including his cousin Nihal, have followed the political legacy, Aaishvary is forging his path in the creative field, steering clear of traditional routes. A south heroine will make her Hindi debut and name will be announced.

Kerala Filmdom is shell shocked that Moonwalk featuring newcomers had bombed badly. Every reviewer on YouTube and other online playforms along with print media hailed the film for the technical brilliance and the actors. Lijo Jose Pellisery who backed the film and Listin Stephen who is a major player in the exhibitor sector behind it m film got more than 100 + screens and by second week it 12 screens.

Des[ite this the opening was Rs 16 lakhs and then dippping down to Rs 1 lakh per day. Sacknik put the net collections to Rs 85 lakhs. Lijo took to FB to lament the flop of the film and wondered what happened to the Malayali audience.

Criticism heard ;

The "Moonwalk" movie, a Malayalam film set in 1987 Kerala, follows a group of friends who discover breakdancing and become inspired by Michael Jackson. While generally well-received for its authentic portrayal of 80s culture and a genuine tribute to Michael Jackson, the film's second half can be perceived as losing some momentum as it delves more into personal narratives and less into the dance-centric storyline.  Viewers reason for rejection

  • Lulls in the Second Half:

Some viewers felt the film's second half drifted away from the core dance narrative, focusing more on the characters' personal lives.

  • Lack of Strong Central Conflict:

The lack of a significant central conflict or pushback in the narrative was also noted, leading to a slightly less impactful story.

  • Missing Michael Jackson Footage:

Some reviewers wished for more actual footage of Michael Jackson, especially given the film's focus on his influence.

  • Slow Pace:

The film's pace, particularly in the second half, was perceived as slow by some viewers.

  • Underdeveloped Female Characters:

While the film is primarily focused on the male characters, some reviewers felt that the female characters could have been more developed.

Most of the reactions to Lijo post was that they could not see  the film FDFS as the minimum 10 tickets to be sold per show was not achieved. Some asked Lijo to lok back to second week of his directorial Malaikottai Valiban
