Throughout his illustrious career, he has garnered four National Awards, establishing himself as a multifaceted talent in the realms of acting, filmmaking, screenplay writing, playback singing, and television hosting. His artistic contributions extend beyond Tamil cinema, encompassing Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Bengali industries.

According to a report, Nayanthara has acquired Agasthya Theatre in North Chennai and plans to transform it into a multiplex. The announcement of Agastya Theatre's closure was made on September 1, 2020, citing reasons such as poor revenues. Situated in the vibrant area of Tondiarpet, this historic theatre delighted audiences for 53 years with its impressive seating capacity of over 1000 seats. It showcased a wide array of movies, ranging from the classic "Ulagamsutrum Valiban" starring the Late CM G Ramachandran to the latest releases of Ajith and Vijay. However, the theatre's revenues gradually declined due to various factors. Agastya Theatre, which opened its doors in 1967 with the screening of "Bama Vijayam" directed by Balachandar, underwent an upgrade to a Dolby theater during Kurudip Funal. Located on Tiruvottiyur highway, Agasthya Theatre holds the distinction of being one of the largest theatres in Chennai, boasting a capacity of 1004 seats.
Asianet News Tamil interpreted Khushboo's photo on Twitter, in which she posed inside a Kerala temple, with the caption stating that her mother in law's father, built the temple, was interpreted differently. This interpretation differs from the original understanding that it was her mother-in-law's father, who is Sundar's grandfather, that built the temple. The report states that Khushbu 's grandfather a Muslim built the temple and also praises Kushboo's grandfather for his secular values and commends his influence on his granddaughter, who is currently a member of the BJP and the NCW.
