Indian 2 shoot on despite ED raid - Venkat Prabhu locks Thalapathy -

Despite the raid conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Lyca Productions, the filming of the movie "Indian 2," featuring Kamal Haasan and directed by Shankar, continued without interruption in Chennai. "Indian 2" has faced numerous challenges throughout its production, including a tragic accident on set, an ongoing dispute between the production house and the director, and the unfortunate passing of actors Nedumudi Venu and Vivek. Furthermore, the film's lead actress, Kajal Aggarwal, got married and became a mother to a baby girl. Despite these setbacks, Shankar, with a new cast, had to balance his work between completing Ram Charan's film "Game Changer" and wrapping up "Indian 2." He has successfully finished shooting the Ram Charan film and is currently finalizing the Kamal Haasan film. Kamal, who has viewed the footage, expressed his belief that "Indian 2" would set a new standard for Tamil Cinema. However, there remains a question as to whether the ED will freeze Lyca India's bank accounts, which could potentially disrupt the production of "Indian 2" once again.

Venkat last release with Naga Chaitanya and Aravind Swamy titled Custody is a big flop. Karthik Subburaj was in the list with Telugu director Gopichand were in the running to direct Vijay.

‘Naam Season 2’ will stream on Netflix from May 19, 2023. Naam series is produced by 360 Entertainment Productions for Mediacorp Vasantham (a state-owned media conglomerate in Singapore) and is written and directed by T Suriavelan, who plays a unique role that blends both the shades of protagonist and antagonist. The first season revolves around the journey and struggles of 6 aspiring musicians, who collaborate, to accomplish their vision and dream: A stage to perform. While this journey exposes them to betrayals, jealousy, misunderstandings, and many instances that break their bond, they face an uncalled-for upheaval from an orphaned man, who found and lost his beloved ones in the family. What happens when these characters cross paths forms the crux of Season 1. The ‘Naam Season 2’ will double the raciness, grandeur, and riveting elements with more characters joining the play to enthrall the audiences.
