Atlee next with Varun Dhawan - Jyothika in Ajay Devgan film - Robin in Bigg Boss Malayalam 5

Director Atlee's next project will be a Hindi film featuring Varun Dhawan as the lead actor. This marks Atlee's second venture into Bollywood after directing Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan". In this upcoming film, Atlee is also co-producing with Murad Khetani. The casting for the female lead and antagonist is expected to be finalized by June. According to sources, the film will have a strong emotional and dramatic storyline, with action being a key component. The team is aiming to create stylish and grand action sequences for Varun. The shooting is scheduled to take place over four to five months, starting from August, with plans for a global theatrical release in the summer of 2024. The announcement of Atlee directing Varun has put an end to speculations that he will direct Thalapathy Vijay's next project.
Jyothika has signed on for her second Hindi film, after completing "Sri" opposite Rajkumar. This time, she will be paired with Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan and will be playing the role of a possessed woman in a remake of the Gujarati blockbuster. The film's central theme revolves around the heroine, who is the subject of a sorcerer with black magic who has control over her. A good sorcerer then battles to save her from the black magic powers. The role has shades of Jyothika's character in the Tamil film "Chandramukhi." Her last Tamil film was "Udanpirappe," which was her 50th film. The yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by Ajay Devgn along with Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, and filming is set to begin in June. The latest news is that Ajay Devgn plans to complete this supernatural thriller in a 45-day schedule, shooting across Mussoorie, London, and Mumbai. This may be Ajay's fastest film in recent times. It's worth noting that Ajay had previously remade Jyothika's husband Suriya's brother Karthi's Tamil film "Kaithi" as "Bholaa."
