Sai Pallavi's sister Pooja Kannan debut film will release on Zee5 - December 3rd. The film 'Chithirai Sevvaanam' also marks the directorial debut of Action choreographer Stunt Silva. The director warns that the film is not an out and out action film. He says that the story is about a father- daughter bonding and it was narrated by director Vijay to him.and to his surprise he asked him to direct it. Silva found Samudrakanni apt for the role and cast him. Vijay suggestted Sai Pallavi's sister for the daughter role. Malayalam actress Rima Kalingal has played a pivotal role in it. Pooja had acted in a short film `Kaara'. She did her schooling and college in Coimbatore.
Chithirai Sevvaanam has music by Sam CS, lyrics by Vairamuthu, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, and editing by Praveen KL Actor Dhanush released the first look on Twitter.
