L2 Empuran brutal rape of pregnant women- violence puts Hindus in the dock- Move to recensor

Gokulam Movies approached the regional censor board for this. The censor board met and started removing the parts that raised complaints. Amendments will be made in seventeen parts. Some controversial dialogues will be muted. There have been major complaints and criticisms against the film being filmed and released while covering up the incident of the train attack The rape scene and the controversial scene mentioning the Union Home Minister will be changed. The producers themselves have decided to change the name of the villain in the film, Reports Janmabhoomi. Censor board member Mahes said that the scenes where a pregnant Muslim woman is raped has been cut to4 minutes and a scene in which a Hinduvata leader pointing to green colour in national flag makes a communal remark. Thse are two changes made so far. And this film will now be available till Sunday night and only on Monday will another version come through. From censor certification as suitable for =13 it has been revised to +16. A scene where women’s heads are banged multiple times against a wall to reduced to a flash. scene depicting sexual violence against a woman is trimmed to 4 minutes
