Prithviraj replaces Ayushmann in Meghna Gulzar film - Sivaji grandson in BB Tamil 8

 

Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has  been cast in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film, replacing Ayushmann Khurrana, who quit the project due to date conflicts. The film, tentatively titled Daayra, is  to feature Prithviraj as a cop, with the storyline inspired by a rea incident.Sidharth Malhotra opted out  Filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, known for hard-hitting films like Talvar and Raazi, iher next project is Inspired from the 2019 Hyderabad encounter case.

The four men behind the the young veterinarian’s horrific rape and murder in 2019  were shot dead by Hyderabad police. The encounter was questioned in Supreme Court and 10 cops were ordered to face action for killing of the four men.
