Ranveer in Rajini- Lokesh film, Ajith Vidamuyurch October release , Vijay in Dubai

Rajinikanth 171 by Lokesh Kanagaraj has got a new addition to cast and that is Ranveer Singh. The list of actor approached included Prithviraj too. Now we hear that Ranveer was told the portion that was offered to SRK by Lokesh. The role was tailormade for SRK as it was anti hero role with comic touch and a Casanova to boot. The character we are told is that he plays an aide to Rajinikanth m who is a undercover agent of the Customs. He is set up as a new entrant who comes from abroad to play the Gold smuggling in Tamil Nadu and South India. He is said to have given up big time Gold smuggling on an International soil and decided to just indulge in small time smuggling to earn his retirement expenses. He gets on the wrong side of the Maffia. Added to this Customs gives him an aide who was an agent of the Mafia within Customs but is now turned a leaf by deciding to help Rajinikanth by posing as an expert in gold smuggling and if the operation wins, he would get a permanent job in Customs. Rajinikanth is confused as Ranveer hobnobs with smugglers and is seen mostly in the company of women. Is he two timing the Customs and Rajinikanth ?.
